This tether can be used with the Kurgo Tru-Fit Smart Harness or any full body harness.

Are Kurgo products made in USA?

To keep their products affordable for customers, Kurgo has manufacturing in China, Vietnam, Mexico, and Cambodia. The Direct-To-Seatbelt Tether, specifically, is manufactured in Viet Nam. Kurgo maintains the same quality standards for these products as if they were manufactured domestically.

Why is it not recommended for Ford F-Series?

These tethers are not recommended for Ford F-series trucks or Volvos due to the potential that the tether's metal tongue can get stuck inside the truck/car's buckle, as it is not designed to fit the specs of this model would fit with. For incompatible vehicles, it is recommended to use a tether that does not buckle.

It is not safe to attach a seatbelt tether to a dog's collar. It is recommended to only use this tether with a harness.

I liked the looks of it.

I think it is heavier than I need for my Chihuahua. but also I was not looking for one that actually clicked into seatbelt. I needed an extension to add to the tether

Works fine but....

Works fine but the dog can get it unbuckled if the step on the seat belt button. Also, it's not recommended for Volvo's or F-series trucks, which I did not see until

Works fine but the dog can get it unbuckled if the step on the seat belt button. Also, it's not recommended for Volvo's or F-series trucks, which I did not see until I received it. I have a volvo and it works just fine besides the dog accidently unbuckling himself. I think it's and odd choice to not have something like work in the most popular truck in the United States. Either way, doggo is safer with it so I still recommend.

This seat belt attachment is great for safe guarding pets

Insert into seat belt and attach other end to collar or harness. Puppy settles down for a nice ride. It was great to see how secure she felt.

Heavy duty
