Glad I listened to the other reviews!
I honestly didn't have high hopes for this one with my two cats because it didn't seem to tick any of their boxes: no crinkle, doesn't seem big enough for bunny kicks yet felt a little large for playing soccer with, not big fans of silvervine, all plush with no "real" animal components like feathers, fur, leather. But the reviews were so overwhelmingly positive I figured I'd take a chance. I bought it for my girl Moxie's 4th birthday, which happens to be on Cinco de Mayo (aka Cinco de Moxie) so the taco was right on theme, and this was the clear winner of all the toys. Not only does she love grabbing it and chewing the string "legs" and tumbling around with it, but her picky 9 year old lazy fluffball of a sister goes absolutely nuts drooling and rolling all over it and now I'm probably going to have to buy another one to keep the peace. Can't speak to longevity yet since it's been 10 days but after 10 continuous days of mild to rough playing between two cats, so far it's held up fine (which is more than I can say for some other toys I've purchased in the past).
Fun, little toy
This taco is smaller than I expected, though that is my fault because I just bought it on a whim without checking measurements or reviews. But my cat still loves it nonetheless and she loves to play with it! It pairs perfectly with her burrito toy!
Inexplicable obsession over taco kicker results in 4-way cat brawl
Get! This! Taco!!! It's got catnip, irresistible strings, and a bunny-kick-able canvas shell. I'm going to need to purchase a second (or even third!) because it's so in-demand in our household. It's holding up remarkably well, too, for all it's been abused so far. Definitely 10/10 recommend.
Cute toy but smaller than I expected
This Mad Tabby Taco Toy is adorable and has LOTS of strings that my male kitten goes crazy for. However, it is A LOT smaller than I was expecting to to be, about 4 inches long by 2.5 inches wide.
Tabby Taco is a hit!
Our Maine Coon boy could hardly wait to play with this toy. As soon as the delivery box was opened he dove right in and pulled out the Taco, backing board still attached, and could hardly contain himself while I removed it. 15 minutes later, tabby Taco was a cat slobbered mess and Buzzy was in a silvervine/catnip haze. I think we're going to need more of these, lol.
The toy is well made & aesthetically attractive. My one complaint is it’s size. I have two cats one of which is in love with this toy. She immediately took to it & pulls it out her toy basket daily. My second cat although I e seen her play with it is not as enamored.
Great toy for Taco Tuesday
Even though it arrived on a Friday, it was Taco Tuesday for Rah. He's an elder statesman and doesn't play with toys much lately. But this Catnip Taco got him off his sofa for a while.
I bought my sphynx kitten a couple things with catnip in them but the only thing she went crazy for or even gave a second glance for was the taco. And she went CRAZY! I highly recommend it.
Cute and cat sized
The cats enjoy them, but there’s certainly no “special” catnip or filling that makes them more attractive than the socks I fill with yeoww catnip.
I got this toy for my cat Esme's Birthday. As soon as I opened it she wanted it. She absolutely loves it and plays with it all the time!
