Works so much better than other medicated shampoos
My little rescue Dory has had skin issues since I adopted her over a year ago. She gets persistent yeast infections, has flaky skin, and "elephant" skin. (Her Westie genes are probably responsible) We tried several over the counter medicated shampoos, which worked for about 3 days until she started smelling "yeasty" again. We have only used this three times, but now we only have to wash her once a week. After continued use, we are hoping her other issues will get better as well. Our vet told us the problems will never go away, but can be controlled. This is now our go-to shampoo.
Less itching
I bought this because I told my vet my dog would not stop licking his paws. It was really bad, I thought it was more of a habit than him actually being itchy. I gave him his first bath with it and that night I already saw improvements with him licking less. It has now been 3 days since his bath and the excessive licking is way less. Very happy and will recommend to anyone who has a dog with itchy paws.

Only shampoo that works, can't find it in stock anywhere
This is the only shampoo that has worked for my dog with recurrent, antibiotic resistant skin infections and now I'm pretty sure it's just been discontinued. Can't find it in stock anywhere, had to try a comparable miconazole+chorhexidine shampoo but it has fragrance in it so it has sent his skin back to square one. This would have been a 5 star review if they didn't abruptly stop making it with no warning.
First time using and this one works
We have tried 4 different allergy shampoos prior to MALASEB and this is the one that works. Purchased our first bottle thru our vet just to get started and yes it is expensive. We will order thru Chewy to continue the schedule (2xs/week). As directed, We applied on a wet coat. The shampoo lathered well. We left on him for 15 minutes after he was completely saturated from head to tail. All said and done the application to rinse process to about 1/2 hour. He is a 60lb dog with a triple coat. The shampoo took the heat out of his skin. He was still slightly red with inflammation but SO much better, an 8+ on a scale of 10. His behavior actually improved (he's a howler when things are not going his way) which was noticed by the whole family. Hoping this result will continue with the second bath.

Recommended for itchy skin for dogs
I used this shampoo on my very itchy Jack Russell Terrier for excessive shedding, itchy skin and a few hot spots on her abdomen. The shampoo did not have a nice refreshing smell. The dogs abdomen got really red as I rinsed well and toweled her off. I put some mild cortizone cream on her abd. to calm down the irritation. Perhaps my dogs issue was not fungal in nature.
Great Dane Sores
This has been the only Shampoo that has truly helped my Big Boy! If anyone has a pet suffering with any dermatology issues that tend to get worse after shower, please speak to your veterinarian about switching to this shampoo. Truly works wonders!
