Where is this food made? Where are your ingredients sourced

Merrick crafts their recipes with the world's best ingredients from the best producers. Most of their ingredients come from the USA, however, in certain circumstances some ingredients may come from another country (like lamb from New Zealand) to ensure the highest quality possible. Each and every ingredient must meet Merrick’s own rigorous quality standards. Ingredients are tested upon arrival, samples are tested throughout production, and all pet food is tested before its released for sale. While all of their recipes are made in the USA in their Kitchens in Hereford, Texas, They do outsource a few ingredients from other countries. Here is that list: New Zealand: Lamb and Venison France: Duck and Rabbit: Canada/Germany: Vitamins and Minerals Premix. Everything else is from the US.

It should have been ZERO stars this time around. The package was delayed arriving to me after it made a multi-state journey. Indiana to Ohio to Arizona and finally to Illinois. Upon arrival I noticed that 4 cans had minor dents, 3 cans had MAJOR dents and 1 can was dented so badly that it was open and I had to throw it out. Unacceptable Chewy!

Once he was done with that bag and dry food from Maverick. I had to go back to the other dog food that my dog was thriving on. And he definitely went back to his old fun playful self again. It was a bit concerning, because what's in this dog food that affected my dog MENTALLY? And I have taken care of 2 other dogs until over 16 years old, making homemade meals for them. I am very observant, I dont just say this over a whim. I read some where another review said something like this, dog not acting right. But I really do pay attention to negative views, and keep them in mind.
