Does Merrick check for levels of arsenic due to rice content?

Rice is a nutritious food and an important part of a healthy diet. Arsenic can occur naturally in rice through the growing process. The FDA does not recommend any changes regarding consumption of rice at this time. For those who prefer to feed a grain-free dog food, Merrick offers many alternative options. Merrick tests their food and ingredients over 9500 times including a final test to make sure their foods are nutritionally balanced and safe to feed. They also meet all AAFCO and FDA requirements on their ingredients and ingredient levels.
Does the 22lb bag have a closure zipper on it? So it can be re-sealed after the bag has been open?

The bag for this food is not resealable. The kibble inside will stay fresh to the best before date on the packaging as long as the air is pressed out and the bag is clipped closed, or if the food is kept in an air tight container.
