We are unfortunately moving soon and need to have showings for our current residence. Our one cat is "spirited", and we were concerned that if left unattended, he could potentially cause the demise of unsuspecting potential home buyers in a way that Kevin(the one from the Home Alone series) would be impressed with. So we needed a maximum security situation. This playpen/cage is perfect. It has wheels so we can roll it where it can be out of the way, and has enough room for food-a litter box- and enrichment. It came with a super plush attatchment that goes on the shelf of your choice, which was a bonus. Now I just need to make a sign that conveys the importance of not making eye contact with the inmate in a professional way that I can affix to the front of his cell. Yes, he is orange.

Easy assembly, well-made, but the screws could have been a smidge longer. Unnecessary struggle to get the washer, lock, & bolt on bc of the length of the screw

Brand Quality

We have had Midwest wire crates for our dogs for many years. When we bought this, we intentionally selected Midwest because we are well aware of the quality AND

We have had Midwest wire crates for our dogs for many years. When we bought this, we intentionally selected Midwest because we are well aware of the quality AND the assembly challenges. When assembling-patience and finesse are key. It took several hours to assemble and there were times where we had to re-do steps, however, once finished, the enclosure seems sturdy and secure. Now-the attachment of the castors is a different story. These need a total re-design. Screws are too short to use both washers and lock washers. It would be better to have actual wheel assembly detachable while assembling the brackets. The castors are the difference between me giving this a 4 star and 5 star review. Catch pan probably split at crease in transit. I fully expect Midwest to address this problem.
