Are the tubes that come with option 3 safe for chinchillas?

These accessories are made specifically for ferrets and are not intended for use with Chinchillas.

This comes with the cage right? :)

Great fit

Large liners fit securely but smaller liners did not fit as securely because lacked Velcro overlapping edges.

Easy clean up.

The material is soft, but reveals liquids, making any spills or accidents easy to clean up. My old boy's nails break easily and get snagged in the fleece material

Not for Chinchilla's

I bought this for my Chinchilla's and it doesn't absorb the urine, it just puddled up and they were walking on it. I will stick with the fleece covers!

NOT FOR RATS

The bottom tray cover is an envelope so it goes on easy. The shelf, however, has to be attached to the wire with velcro tabs. It DOES NOT go on like an envelope

The bottom tray cover is an envelope so it goes on easy. The shelf, however, has to be attached to the wire with velcro tabs. It DOES NOT go on like an envelope like the bottom tray. For this reason alone I'd not recommend them. You have to remove the whole shelf rack in order to install it. Even that, this is not for rats. They ripped up the edges in a day. After two days they just shredded it. So DO NOT get this for rats. And only if you like making a chore of cage cleaning because the shelf tray takes forever.

NOT for rats

First time rat owner and I purchased this because it is made by the same company as my cage. I attached the shelf liner tightly so there wasn't anything sticking

First time rat owner and I purchased this because it is made by the same company as my cage. I attached the shelf liner tightly so there wasn't anything sticking out to chew. They still managed to put a hole in both shelf liners and chewed the Velcro. Would not recommend for rats unless your rats don't like to chew things.
