One of the very few supplements he will actually accept

The cat I got this for, Spot, has a problem with licking his lower belly a lot to the point where it is almost bald most of the time. Some times he licks it to the point of excoriations. I took him to the vet and there is a question whether this is related to urinary tract problems or food or environmental sensitivities or possibly something else as he also has periodic flares of redness of the skin around his left eye. I figured this was worth a try. I have not had much success using supplements with Spot because he refuses to eat whatever I would put the supplements in. He does seem to like the taste of this one. Has it worked? Unfortunately I have not been using it as regularly as I should (I am going to try to do so), but he does seem somewhat improved in that the lower belly looks better, but he has days where he still does lick it a lot.

Much cheaper & they like it better

I was using Flo which costs ~$49/container, & requires 1 full scoop per cat/day. I switched to D-mannose. It costs <1/2 as much, AND you use HALF as much per cat

I was using Flo which costs ~$49/container, & requires 1 full scoop per cat/day. I switched to D-mannose. It costs <1/2 as much, AND you use HALF as much per cat (1/2scoop vs 1 scoop). Additionally, D-Mannose comes in chicken flavor while Flo only comes in beef, which my cats don't like as much as chicken. I waited months to review to see if this cheaper, better tasting product works & IT DOES!!

I use this as a preventative for UTI's. My eldest senior female cat was hit with UTI twice and another senior female exhibited early symtoms of infection, after hearing about this and seeing this used at a Cat Rescue I Volunteer for I decided that D-mannose was better to use for them than using probiotics to help their bladder health. It works wonderfully and between the two of them, at half a scoop each once daily, it lasts quite some time.

Time has taught me that pretty much all females should be on d-mannose to avoid urinary problems (that includes cats, dogs, and human women!) My cat has early stage kidney disease and on top of that, dealt with a bad UTI that required multiple visits. After that, I decided to get her on d-mannose as a preventative. SHE LOVES THE TASTE OF THIS! I put it in her breakfast and it's her favorite meal, she eats every bit unlike at her other meals she leaves food behind. So that's awesome. Also, this little jar lasts a long time as the serving scoop is very small. She has been on this for two years and hasn't had another UTI. Definitely worth it!

My Cat has not peed anywhere in the house since being on this.

I used to have my cat on cranberry powder, she would still accidents in house from time to time. Not on this D- mannose, so far do good after 2 weeks.
