This supplement is suitable for cats and dogs of all sizes. For pets weighing up to 20 pounds, give 1/2 tablet once daily. For pets weighing 21-40 pounds, give 1 tablet once daily. For pets weighing 41-80 pounds, give 2 tablets once daily. For pets weighing over 81 pounds, give 3 tablets once daily.

One should notice a benefit within a couple hours of taking a dose. However, as with humans, there are usually several contributing factors when it comes to feelings of anxiety or nervousness. It may take a couple weeks to really notice difference. How long does the effect last would depend on individual metabolism and continual stressors.

To date, I have not found a holistic-based calming product that works even if they will eat them. Of all the products I have tried, these are the worst because the smell of them is very strong and unappealing and they simply will not eat them. I've even tried grinding them up and mixing in their food, and also dissolving them in their water. I read the reviews before purchasing and decided to give them a try anyway. Was a mistake on my part.
