Seems to help!

I had a hard time believing a cat would accept getting sprayed in the mouth but I finally ordered it. And the one I specifically bought it for, accepts it! I noticed she had a dry mouth --smacking her lips (she's 18) and thought I'd give it a try. It has helped her and improved her breath. It must make her mouth feel better because she allows me to use it without complaint. Go figure. I use it twice a day. I have ordered several Zymox products and have been pleased with all of them.

Easy daily dental care

After fully healing from a dental with extractions, this is really making it easy for me to stick to my commitment of daily teeth cleaning! He did not like it at first, but tolerates it really well now!

Great in between brushes

This is a great product to use in between brushes for you puppy. My dog loves the taste of it and it really leaves him with great smelling breath.

Product does as promised

I adopted two dogs that need a dental cleaning, which is a bit out of my reach at the moment. My vet recommended I start using Oratene to help break up the tartar. It hasn't been that long, but I am already seeing and smelling an improvement.

Just started using it

I just started using this. It seems to do ok as far as freshening my dog’s breath. I wish it had been packaged better. The spray nozzle came off because the top wasn’t secured and a little bit came out. Luckily we were able to put it back on.

Dog accepts spray very well

This has helped my dog's bad breath a lot. It comes from the makers of Zymox so I expected it to be good and it is. The product is very easy to use and was well accepted by my dog.

Kicks Bad Breath

My male cat does not drink water. He has inflammation of the gums so, I have to see a vet for bi-annual dental cleanings. In between cleanings, this product is a lifesaver. It eliminates his bad breath. I spray his mouth twice a day before brushing his teeth with Oratene's kitty toothpaste. I also use Green Tea which it is NOT enough to get rid of bad breath alone...I need to combine it with Oratene's Breath freshner. (The Green Tea does reduce inflammation)

It has a bitter taste

The Oratene dental gel and Oratene water additive never had this bitter taste. (Yes, I tasted it myself, as I almost always do with any medicine I give my animals). I feel uncomfortable giving it to my cats. I don’t see any ingredients listed that should have a bitter taste. Oratene customer service wasn’t very helpful in that they couldn’t tell me, nor did they seem interested in figuring out, whether this was normal for this product or if something was wrong with this batch. Lot #190501, exp. 05/2022. As always, Chewy was responsive with an immediate offer of a refund.
