Oratene gel
Oratene gel is not a gel but like a syrup...Drips off the finger. Hard to apply
very watery, doesn’t stick or coat teeth
I like Oratene products and decided to try this gel. It is very watery. Runs right off the finger. The dogs hate it. Can’t really say if it works or not because it will not coat or stick to the teeth & gums. I will go back to another brand of toothpaste that I know works.
cat hates it
Got this to relieve some of my cat’s gingivitis before his dental cleaning later this month. Unfortunately, I have no idea whether it works or not, because he hates it! When I finally manage to get him to be still and squeeze it onto his gums, he flinches away, either because of the taste or the sensation. Probably great for less squirmy pets, but for us, we’ll have to go back to brushing with a finger brush!
Just amazed at how well it worked
Ok so my poor pup Aria has an autoimmune disease which makes it hard for her to heal from wounds and she ended up with the small wounds on the side of her mouth and for about 2 years now we have been fighting to get those heal and close we've taken her to vets trying to steroid creams antibiotics I mean you need it we've tried it all they ever seem to do is make it worse and while they started very small they ended very large that's when we saw your product decided to give it a shot at this point why not I would say in about 3 days after starting this product we started to see her mouth healing for the first time in 2 years my pups mouth is healing and it has made a huge difference in her quality of life and I cannot thank this product enough just wow I will never not have this in my house again I just ordered my 2nd tube. she is playing with toys, eating better, wanting her chews for the 1st time in 2year, and again just thank u for helping her feel so much better
Made my cat throw up
My cat lost an upper fang and her gum area above the missing fang is swollen. I tried using this gel in the hopes that it would decrease her gum inflammation a bit, but all it did was make her throw up.
Tried Daily AFTER Full Oral Treatment/Anesteshia
My boys had clean slates after very expensive dental cleaning, no brushing for a week. The gel helped with dry gums. But didn't do a thing for the red gum line irritation or the "plaque biofilm". In fact, plaque started building up along the gum line within 4 days. Then instructions say to use only 5 to 7 days. Raced back to the leading brand toothpaste and a toothbrush to save the $1400 bill we just spent.
Seems to be helping a bit
I've only been using this for about 2 weeks and I think it gives my 18 year old relief for his gums. I just started using it on my 2 younger ones as a cleaning and they actually love the taste! Lol
