TERRIBLE! The plastic stem broke off the first time my cat used it. I am VERY disappointed and so is my cat, by the way.

Ok I bought 2of these items reason is that my cat pulls this thing and lets it go like a sling shot. If it would break I could replace it with another one. Ok here’s the problem, they aren’t long enough. Followed the instructions on the card it’s attached to not long enough, you need 2 for this to work. So for my cat I sacrificed the other which is the same length to work. I wouldn’t recommend this item, unless if you have a short door.
Flimsy but cat loves it

This toy lasted less then 48 hours before it broke. Luckily, a little duck tape and it’s been holding together for a while. My cat loves it, just wish it would’ve been sturdier on its own.

Pulled the little plastic tab for the battery compartment and no squeaking. More than a little disappointed. Was hoping this would occupy the cat while I make dinner or relax but he's not interested in it all all. He loves the other squeaky toy mouse(bought in the same order) so I guess all is well. He's such a hunter, I had high hopes for this one. Oh well.
The bopping mouse
on Feb 26, 2020
This toy is lots of fun for fur babies because the mouse dangles on a string and when they bop it the critter squeaks and never gets away. So playtime is challenging since mousey never stops swinging and singing. Jumping and reaching for this toy is Great exercise .
THE BEST TOY

I set this up and even the dogs were interested! We have 5 cats so I'm always looking for something to entertain & this is perfect. While 1 cat was playing the others were sitting in a semi-circle around it waiting their turn!
HAPPY CATS. HAPPY ME.

I didn’t buy this toy from Chewy, but my cats love it so much that I’m leaving a review anyway. I saw where some people complained about the durability of it. I haven’t had that problem at all. I have pulled the string almost all the way to floor to make the mouse bounce high for my cat, and the rod hasn’t snapped yet. I can also shut the door with it on, but my door frame is flat/smooth. That could be why. My cats love it, and it was so worth the money. When the battery on the mouse runs down (which it will eventually), I’ll probably attached a bell to it so that it will still make noise.
Door Hanger Cat Toy

Our cats love it; however, it's too high from the floor and unless we put a box or other kind of raised platform underneath it, our cats cannot get at the toy.
Fun with flaws

Keep this toy away from your bedroom! Fun for a couple of nights (if you don’t need sleep) then you HAVE to move it to another door/position to keep the interest(depending on your cats personality). Not great because the string isn’t long enough for the top of a door unless you have a small cat tree by the door. OH and you cannot close the door with this toy attached. Attachment NEEDS TO BE SLIMMER!
Kittens favorite toy

My kitten LOVED this toy. I had to hide it from him to even get him to eat his dinner. There are a couple drawbacks to the design that took one star away- much like previous reviews said, it is not overly durable. The rod breaks away from the door hanger part very easily, but I just wrapped the remaining rod and string around a door knob and it was perfect. My kitten did manage to play the mouse to death as well, but for under $4, it is worth it. I am even buying him two more since he liked the toy so much.
