I bought this with one of my cats in mind who loves wand/teaser toys & was hoping he’d enjoy this for solo play but after a couple days he wasn’t interested anymore BUT my other cat absolutely loves this toy. She meows & squeaks while playing with it. Also keep in mind before buying this toy, the toy itself does squeak/chirp while being played with! I don’t always keep it out for safety precautions as I don’t want to worry about her getting caught in the tether, but she’ll sit where it usually hangs & meow for it when she wants to play with it. Part of the string has stretched out and will eventually break & part of it actually has broken already from the cats chewing it, I’ve just re-tied it together for now but will definitely purchase again once this becomes unusable. I’ve also found that you can hang it on the side of a door as well which lets you adjust how high or low it hangs. Sometimes my cat wants to be lazy and lay down while batting at it instead of having to jump at it or stand to bat it.
One of my cats loves this toy so much that I buy multiple. Yes, the string is easy to chew through but I just tie it back up for at least 5 uses per toy. There is a good amount of string for height and I'll add a step stool under for the last couple of uses. She also likes the mouse itself enough to bat around after chewing it down.
My 10 month old kitten loves her new toy. She doesn't play with it for hours, mostly because she doesn't focus on anything for too long, but she does play with it for up to half an hour then walks away. I was afraid she may break it because she's very energetic but nope. I'm pleased with my purchase - thanks Chewy.
They loved it, if you have a kitten I totally recommend it, but if you have a grown cat don't! Because everything is plastic they broke it in less than a hour. They have too much strength. Maybe if the holder was metal it would've been so perfect.
It serves it's purpose for keeping the cats entertained. However, the sound died in less than 24 hours. I ended up adding a feather and bell from another toy the cats love to keep them more inclined to play.
My cats absolutely loooved this thing. Huge hit in my household. Unfortunately it is on the cheaper side and the arm won’t “lock” onto the handle, but that’s what duct tape is for. I also with the string with adjustable.
It's super cute, but inthunk ours was defective. Our tiny 1 month old kitten jumped amd the plastic branch piece holding the string snapped right off, no fixing. Considering our little guy fitd in our palm, I don't think it was his fault, haha
Been up a couple hrs. I have one cat that does a good job at entertaining herself, boycat not so much. I keep trying different toys. He’s played with it a little. Girlcat loves it. I also missed the part that it squeaked. Oops. Had to get up at night and get the mouse out of their reach so I could sleep.
My cat loves this toy; however, he kept pulling it down from the door. My husband put up a metal hook that fits over the door and attached the toy to it...problem fixed! Now my cat plays with it until he is tired!
I bought this as a birthday gift for my brothers large basically barn cat that loves anything that looks like a mouse (HUGE PLUS IT SQUEAKS!) But instead my twins saw it (along with their 2nd or is it 3rd cousin I'm sitting) and have been playing with it now for over an hour and still going.
