Fun Toy to Replace the Small One
By Tori on Jan 8, 2021
After my 7 month corgi ate the cardboard out of the bottom from the smaller version, we decided to upgrade to the bigger toy. He loves these toys and it's worth buying another. If you have a heavy chewer this toy needs to be something you play with them to keep the focus on hide and seek, then start all over again. Otherwise they will eventually open up the squirrels and rip the cardboard from the base of the trunk. Hunter loves to shove his snout in all the holes digging for more squirrels.

Huge hit!!!
By Buffus on Jan 18, 2021
I have 2 Pit Bull mixes and a 4 year old German Shepherd. The Shepherd was imported from Germany and is a highly trained working dog so it's hard to find toys that actually entertain her. I bought 3 of these, one for each dog. While the Pits weren't very interested (My smaller one will only play with his Mr. Bill toy), the German Shepherd LOVED these toys! She spent HOURS playing with them and was very upset that I wouldn't let her take them outside with her. I'm still finding little squirrel bodies hidden here and there! She finally destroyed the last one a few days ago so I just ordered her 3 more!

Pittie Approves
By Anna on Jan 15, 2021
My pitbull loves this toy! He’s 62 pounds with a big head so I got the biggest size available. I read some reviews saying that this toy keeps their dog entertained for hours... it entertains my pit for only a couple minutes. It takes two minutes for him to get all the toys out of the stump, but then he loves to chew them. I have to supervise him the whole time though to make sure he doesn’t rip it up... not good for those who just wish to give their dog a toy and go do some work... but it’s good for those who want their dog to get some mental stimulation!

Squirrels Are Everywhere
By Nikki on Jan 3, 2021
My two fur babies one a Staffordshire Pitbull Terrier and the other a German Shepherd absolutely live them. I hv bought it before , but the tree the squirrels are in was half the size. The GermanShepherd sleeps with the tree and squirrels inside everywhere, because he is so tired from getting them out of tree, throwing them in the air, him and his big sister playing tug a war and keep away. After the day ends he is tired goes to sleep with the squirrels everywhere. Too cute and live them. Highly recommend for fur babies everywhere. However the smaller one for small dogs.

She loves it!
By Emily on Jan 4, 2021
Our dog absolutely loves this toy! She likes to tear the stuffing out of her other toys and then sticks her nose in the shell to root around for more. This toy fulfills her desire to root around for stuff without making the mess we so loathe. I am wondering how the base of the tree trunk will hold up to our dog, though. She likes to chew it, so the inner stiff piece has already folded and makes the tree sit funny. No big deal, but I would think there could be a better way to make the base thicker and a sturdy base that is more resilient.

Awesome Toy - just not for a tough chewer!
By Addie on Jan 20, 2021
It's a really great toy, and she absolutely loves it (she had it as a little puppy, too, she's 1 now), but it probably isn't worth it if you have a tough chewer. My dog ripped the log portion of it in--I kid you not--less than 2 minutes from giving it to her. Completely destroyed. Squirrels are still intact, though, so she'll be able to play with those. Again, great toy, not for tough chewers.

Outward Hound Hide A Squirrel
By Jeanie on Jan 15, 2021
My dog LOVES this toy. Both of them do, but especially my 3 year old hound. The squirrels are tightly sewn, so even my hard chewing dogs haven't destroyed them. One of my dogs loves to shake the "trunk" and all the squirrels come flying out! My ONLY complaint was the cardboard insert in the trunk. She pulled that out the first day. I sewed it back closed and it's fine. She can find cardboard anywhere.

Don't Swallow the Squirrels!
By Suze on Jan 12, 2021
I gave this toy to my ‘grand-dog’ a beautiful black great dane. He loves squeaky toys & watching the squirrels in his yard. He likes this toy. However, he must be supervised during his play to ensure he doesn’t swallow the little squirrels. He has a propensity for swallowing non-food items which require surgical intervention. Not sure if this is a breed or personal issue. Its hard to find toys for such a large breed!

Tons of Fun
By Sarah on Jan 13, 2021
My dog LOVES this toy! Searching for the squirrels inside the log brings a new element to playtime and helps him to learn! Sometimes he will just go and pull out all 6 squirrels from the log to let us know that he wants to play, and has a lot of fun digging them out to play with different squirrels. I would definitely recommend this, as my husband and I have also enjoyed playing with our dog and this toy!

Doggy approved
By Zuko on Jan 14, 2021
My human got this for me, and I love it. The squirrels are squeaky, and I just love getting them out of the tree stump. The only problem is that I'm not sure how they get back in there. I try to keep an eye on them, but they're sneaky. I suspect my human might be helping them. But that's okay because then I get to pull them back out again, and squeak them some more, and I really like doing that.
