Awesome food for my mice!
By MouseMom on Dec 6, 2020
I've tried a few different food blocks for my mice. Mazuri, Oxbow's Essentials for Young Rats and Adult Mice, and this! My mice hands down prefer the Oxbow Garden Select over Mazuri and Oxbow Essentials. The price is great, my mice love the taste, and I like the resealable bag.

Pretty good
By alien on Nov 6, 2020
First ingredient being oat, I noticed it kept the boys poop on the regular side. I tried the regular version of these and made their poop black and also no hate to corn but I say these ingredients are better ! Didnt give 5 stars because although I wish I had a non wire base for the cage, it is so and they fall easily through when they get to a side with just wire.

But my mouse eats these blocks only a little and would rather have his mazuri

He didn't like it at first but now he loves it!
By chap on Jan 23, 2020
My mouse didn't like it at first (he was used to mouse food with all the little fruit treats and colored biscuits in it from his previous owners) when I was transitioning him over to this food but now he loves it! I got the 2lb bag.

Mouse Approved!
By SharMc2019 on Dec 15, 2019
Oxbow is the ONLY brand my mouse will eat. I tried Kaytee and bleh! My mouse would nibble on it but he didn’t eat it like he eats Oxbow. I think he likes this particular one a lot. He will eat it all until it is finished. I will see my mouse carry it throughout the enclosure too. Will not feed him anything else but Oxbow.

Please do not buy this for your rats!
By Emmy on Mar 24, 2020
Gave both of my boys a very upset stomach and overall just it being a 'young rat' food is unhealthy for them...

Best food for mice!
By meganm620 on Sep 28, 2019
I'm SOOOO happy Chewy has this Oxbow Garden Select Mouse and Young Rat food! It has the perfect amount of fat and protein for mice. Plus the ingredients are more natural for mice (not lots of corn or soy). I will forever buy this for my mice and recommend Oxbow Garden Selects for any small animal! It's much better than the essentials version.
