Does it scratch the leather on the headrests? I worry that it will move up and down and not be all that secure in place.

Not at all i have leather seats and it’s very secure and doesn’t move!

Your car needs to have adjustable headrests to secure the straps attached to the barrier. The straps need something to attach to.

Sturdy and Customizable

I love this barrier! My Honda Odyssey has a high tire well thing for a spare on one side, so I loved that I could flip the side pieces around to fit the interior

I love this barrier! My Honda Odyssey has a high tire well thing for a spare on one side, so I loved that I could flip the side pieces around to fit the interior best and go around the raised part. My husband is allergic to dogs and I'm in school full time but I use this accessory in my car to walk rescue dogs at the humane society. I did have to add some strength to it with black zip ties. One dog pulled on a side panel and almost snapped the single plastic bit holding that side up. A few tiny zip ties later and it won't budge at all now. TIP: f you clip the zip tie ends off with nail clippers there is no sharp edge protruding. Because it's customizable shape fits perfectly it doesn't shake against any of the interior even before I added supporting zip ties.

Keeps dogs out if the front of car.

This works really well, though it's a little bit of a hassle to put up/take down because you have to climb into the back the car to get to it.

It didn't fit very well in our Tiguan. We had to figure out a way to block the bottom and it was a very poor fit when the 2 front seats were in different distan
