My longhaired cat used to track litter all though the house; I haven't seen any litter tracked out of the litter box since starting to use the litter mat. A major improvement! However, I have noticed cat urine in the litter mat (without seeping onto the floor), probably from my other cat who is 19 years old. As I've noticed on other reviews, all four of the mats I ordered came with a strongly set fold across the middle which is tenacious and still hasn't completely subsided since the first order arrived December 14th (it's now January 1st).

Looks great but it has failed to remove any litter from her paws.

I left it in place for several weeks. When I then emptied it only a few pieces of litter fell from on top of it. Nothing in the second layer.

Perfect!

These waffle mats are amazing for light litter and very easy to clean! We had a couple leading out of the room and it got just about all the litter before it ended
