These treats should be fed to cats as a healthy reward or supplemental treat. Cats weighing up to 10 pounds can be given up to 8 treats per day. Cats weighing over 10 pounds can be given up to 12 treats per day.

Disappointed

I totally agree with other comments. These treats (all flavors) were great. Both my cat and I loved them. Me on the grounds they were always great quality and made in the USA. Her the taste. I thought it was a fluke that I received some older bags that were small and hard so I ordered more but sadly that has not been the case. Total disappointment, not the same product at all.

Formula Change

I’ve been buying these for over 4 years. Despite the bag saying “same great recipe” you can see clearly from the photo, that is very much untrue. Even when the treats weren’t soft and were a little stale, my cat still ate them. He won’t touch the new formula and I actually had to return 5 bags (Chewy was amazing, as they always are, and refunded me without issue). Worst part of this is that in the prior 6 months, the quality of the treats were at an all time high. They were consistently soft and always fresh. As you can see from the photo, the new treat isn’t even close and I thought I’d accidentally been sent a crunchy version. Sadly, not the case. I emailed the company and they said they had a manufacturing change and were working on correcting the problem. I hope they are able to because as others have said, finding a healthy soft treat, very difficult. I would advise Chewy to discontinue buying this until they’ve corrected their issues.

What happened to these treats?

I started getting these late 2022, my cats loved them - would drag the bag across the floor to get them. Regardless of what the manufacturer says on the bag, everything about these have changed. The price went up a lot, the texture, smell, size, color - everything is different. They are also so much denser/harder that one of my cats can't even chew them and spits them out. My cats refuse to eat these now.

Formula has changed

I had relied on petgreens for years, they were a part of our daily routine. Especially so for medication as they were soft enough to mold around a tablet. And when petgreens was a soft chew treat my cat loved them. But now the formula has changed (or the QC has failed). The treats are no longer soft (semi-moist) but are hard and look desiccated. So disappointed with petgreens for changing something that was a staple of our daily nutrition. Bought 3 bags from chewy last month and they are completely rejected by my cat.

Disappointed

My cats used to love the moist treats. The cats will not eat the new formula. The treats are small and rock-hard. I checked the expiration date. It's still good, so it is the manufacturing. The company needs to switch back to the old treats.

Recipe changed or quality has diminished

I gave these to my cat for years and the last two bags have been completely different. They’re half the size they used to be and they’re rock hard. You can’t even break them in half anymore. My cat rejected them after they were his favorite treat to have everyday. There aren’t a lot of semi soft treats that are healthier options for cats and I’m so sad that I can’t trust this brand anymore.

Hard as a rock

The Pet Greens are too hard to break. The date is good on them, but something’s not right. I will try and contact the company. This is the first and only time I’ve been dissatisfied with this product.

Poor quality control

My cats love these treats when they are moist as described. Unfortunately, they are often nearly rock hard rather than moist. You never know what you’re going to get, moist or rocks. My cats will not eat the hard ones, so they end up being a total waste at least half the time if not more.

Our silly fur-herd unanimously said "nope!"

These 4 are hopeless...it's only Feline Greenies (non-dental) for them. All four are rescue cats, taken off the streets where they were eating who knows what....now they are entitled, spoiled, fussy brats. I try different treats occasionally and this was another case of "no thanks." Your mileage no doubt will vary. These are going to my daughter who has two feral colonies she takes care of...they are ALWAYS appreciative of any food and treats!
