I got this product to tested it from chewy. When I was able to finally use it with my dogs during their baths I started noticing my dogs hair falling during their bath. With my first dog I thought it was something else but when I tried it with my second dog it happened again. The smell is good but I think this shampoo isn’t good for my dogs fur.

To me, this smells amazing. My dog, however, literally wrinkled her nose, squinted her eyes, and snort huffed when I put it on her. It's very minty which may have been what bothered her. I only used it on her back and chest though because I didn't want to prolong her discomfort with smelling it. It did get her nicely clean from general old dog funk and left her short little needle hair pretty soft. She didn't seem bothered by it once it was rinsed and I didn't notice any lingering scent, not even wet dog smell! I want to give it five stars because it cleans and deodorizes really well, but my dog insists I take a star away for the sake of her nose.

Good shampoo. It foamed up nicely but rinsed clean. It has a delightful smell, both during the bath and afterwards. It also stopped my dog from chewing at existing bites. Like the shampoo I choose for myself, it's paraben and dye free, and it contains no artificial scents. The only thing I did not care for was the direction to use weekly. This would dry my dog's skin and make her smell more like dog very quickly. I could absolutely see using it once a month or so, however.

Sorry guys, it took me a bit to review this product. So, lets start with smell, it's a bit strong and smells like fingernail polish remover, but, I will say the product works and that is all that makes a difference. Also, this shampoo made my dog's skin and fur soft. Plus, while not a 'detangler' product, it did help with the matting as my dog is dule coated and she does get matting a lot. So, besides the off-putting smell, which only lasts a few hours, I will give this Flea/Tick Dog Shampoo, a five-star rating.

Smells great! The lather is has a nice texture as well. I used it on all 3 of my dogs 2 German shepherds and it worked great on their thick coats same with my Dobermans
