Cats think this is incredible fun.
It did arrive with its wire a little bent. Didn't stop the cats from group stalking it and trying to kill it. They are all huddled around it trying to figure out the best time to move in for the "kill". The older cat already has tried but it went on fluttering by. The others are biding their time....
Broke in about 30 minutes
It was great at keeping our cat entertained, but it broke within a hour of turning it on for the first time. Motor needs to be concealed or something
Cats Adore
My 16 year old cat who hasn't played with toys in years. Absolutely goes crazy over this toy!!! I've not seen him this active in years! 100% worth the money. And when it gets destroyed. It will be replaced.
Decent Cat Toy
It’s simple, Just a butterfly that spends around on a Battery Powered Swivel. My cat loves it! The only down side is that its easily tipped over……..
Could be better
My cat loves it..until the squealing starts. I've tried lubing it up with WD-40, machine oil, but it returns to the squeal within minutes and the cat is deeply disturbed by it. Irritates the entire house.
Great with some modification
In its out of the box mode, it just kind of drags the butterfly along on the ground. I mounted it to the bottom of a cat tree with some double sided tape so it is suspended and now it's a huge hit! The poor butterfly is full of holes, but the cats are happy!
Good cat toy, but a flimsy
My cat absolutely loved this toy, so much that it was like the only thing she wanted to play with. She played with it so much, that the butterfly got destroyed on the second day I had it. It was around 6 hours for play for the butterfly to get completely destroyed.
Fun for my cat
I got this for my cat and at first she wasn’t quite sure. When you turn it on, it makes the butterfly sort of flutter around. As she got used to it, she had fun attacking it. I only gave it four stars because she can easily flip the whole thing right over and once that happens the butterfly stops fluttering and she loses interest. Overall it’s a fun toy, but I’m constantly having to flip it upright.
Horrible Toy :-(
The button to turn it on/off gets jammed. The butterfly spins around way too fast. My cats have no idea what to do with this. $10 wasted.
Not super durable, but super effective!
My cats go nuts for this thing, it looks like a real bug when its on. Sometimes I hold it in the air and run em around and they jump for it, its great exercise for all of us lol. They broke the base the first week I had it so I'm missing one of the brown pieces on the bottom so it doesn't spin on the ground effectively anymore. They still love it tho.
