Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. Choose the Right Weight Range

Each applicator is filled with the right amount for specific dog weight ranges. Tubes for smaller dogs contain less solution than tubes for larger breeds. Reapply monthly for ongoing protection.

How to Apply PetArmor Plus

1. Hold the tube with the notched end pointing up and away from the face and body.

2. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end of the applicator.

3. Invert the tube over your dog and use its open end to part the hair.

4. Apply directly on the skin, from the back of the neck to a point midway between the neck and tail.

Does PetArmor Plus withstand bathing. How long do we wait after applying to bath the dog?

This product is waterproof and remains effective for 30 days. After applying the product, you will want to wait until the application area is dry before allowing your pet to get wet, usually around 24-48 hours. Your pet may be bathed in a gentle grooming shampoo after the product has dried.

Does Petarmor have an expiration date? If I buy a one year supply (2 6 month supplies), will it pass the expiration before the year is up?

When properly stored and under ideal conditions, the product has a three-year shelf life. If there has been a variance in temperature (extreme heat for example), it may reduce the effectiveness of the product. Be sure to store the product in a cool (below 77°F/25°C) dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Do not refrigerate and protect from direct sunlight.

My dog sleeps with me. Once it drys, is this safe for humans or would you have to keep the dog away from you for 24 hrs?

It's recommended to keep treated pets apart from each other, other pets and children for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry. This helps prevent pets from ingesting the topical by licking or grooming one another.
