Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. My dog sleeps with me. Once it drys, is this safe for humans or would you have to keep the dog away from you for 24 hrs?

It's recommended to keep treated pets apart from each other, other pets and children for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry. This helps prevent pets from ingesting the topical by licking or grooming one another.
Does PetArmor Plus withstand bathing. How long do we wait after applying to bath the dog?

This product is waterproof and remains effective for 30 days. After applying the product, you will want to wait until the application area is dry before allowing your pet to get wet, usually around 24-48 hours. Your pet may be bathed in a gentle grooming shampoo after the product has dried.
Does Petarmor have an expiration date? If I buy a one year supply (2 6 month supplies), will it pass the expiration before the year is up?

When properly stored and under ideal conditions, the product has a three-year shelf life. If there has been a variance in temperature (extreme heat for example), it may reduce the effectiveness of the product. Be sure to store the product in a cool (below 77°F/25°C) dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Do not refrigerate and protect from direct sunlight.

It works for us!

I have used this product on our dogs for years. It worked well for us in a Southern state where fleas could be a a significant problem. After moving to New England where deer ticks are a HUGE health issue (Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, etc) for pets AND humans, we were cautioned by a veterinary practice that Pet Armor might not work so well here. That is not the case. Our dogs continue to receive protection from their monthly dose. and that means we humans are better protected, as well.

Pet Armor Plus flea and tick

I am so happy I decided to try this flea and tick med. on my Ruby. After I put it on her it worked instantly. You see we have deer that are loaded with lice and mites and they go through our yard on a daily basis. they lay in our yards here and leave these nasty things all over the grass, so I get welts when I mow the yard or walk in it and no flea med. was working for Ruby who was getting bit a lot and scratching constantly. Avoid

After applying this to my dog she was sick. She stopped eating and was nauseous. She began puking and had diarrhea. After a trip to the ER and week later, she is finally getting back to normal. I've seen slight negative reactions over the years from different topical solutions, but this was the worst. I will not ever use Petarmour again for any pets.

Easy to use and truly effective!

Love this stuff! Easy to apply, comes with a 3-month supply. Fast-acting, really saw results. It not only kills but also protects against fleas, eggs, larvae, ticks, and chewing lice. A fantastic solution for my dog's flea problem.
