PETKIT Eversweet Solo Se Plastic Dog & Cat Fountain Pump, 1.8L

We have 2 cats. One loves playing in the sink, and drinking out of the faucet. The other is shy. We wanted to try a fountain, but didn’t want a faucet-style, because it would probably be used as a play area. The Petkit Solo was a reasonably priced fountain to start with. It has a gentle bubbler flow coming up from the center. Both the cats took to the fountain quickly. Our water-loving cat played with it for a day or two, until the newness wore off. Now she uses it exclusively for drinking. Our shy cat was not spooked by the gentle bubbling of the fountain, and she enjoyed drinking from it within a couple days. This fountain is easy to clean, and it has worked flawlessly from the start. It is a really nice fountain at a reasonable price.

I ordered 5 fountains, based on online reviews. Vortex was noisy. Catit Pixi and PetKit are silent, use a USB cube for power, and are small, very stable, easy to assemble, and packaged small & efficiently for transport. PetKit is the smallest and best design and packaging, Catit Pixi has a small water spout, an option for colors or a steel water tray option, and comes with its own USB cube. My cat had never used a fountain, and I haven't seen her drink from either one, but the litter box shows that this has helped exactly as needed, in just 24 hours. I'm not even going to open the 4th one.

I switched from my old, flowery fountain when its motor got too loud to handle. The petkit filter is SILENT. It’s also so much easier to refill and clean because the whole thing lifts off of the electronic components. This means I clean it more often and more quickly. My cats had no transition time with this and took to it right away!
