Which side of filter should be facing water bowl of fountain

The water should flow through the filter's polyester side first and exit out the black side. The position of the filter will vary depending on the fountain model.
What's the difference between the regular filters for the original Drinkwell Fountain and the premium filters?

Perfect for the 100 oz Multi-Tier Fountain!

I'm so glad I found these for my cat's fountain. They fit perfectly in the 100 oz multi-tier fountain and are easy to replace. My only complaint is that the fountain walls, as well as the filter, get a pink residue on them within just a couple of days of use. Not sure if this is a fountain design flaw or filter flaw? I'm not the only one who has commented about it. If you clean often it's not a big deal and doesn't seem to impact the water.

Finally found the replacements

For those of us who have the Original - Original Drinkwell (approx 14 years old) with a motor that looks completely different than those pictures and you can't find the actual model number for new filters anywhere. stores stopped carrying them and you thought you had to buy a new fountain....... these fit in the fountain and physically match the one I will be taking out. I have not actually starting using them yet but the fit, look, and measurements are the same so I am satisfied they are the solution to my problem. ( attempted a to upload a picture of the fountain- error message kept occuring)

Good products, fair packaging

I love a chewy but they stuff cat litter and canned food and whatever else I order into one large carton too heavy for even 3 muscled hit men to carry. If only they would separate 25 lb cat litter
