What direction do you place the filters in the drinkwell?

Please note that these filters are not exact rectangles; they are tapered. These filters are about 5¼ inches long. On the wider end, they are 3¼ inches across; on the tapered end, it is about 3 inches wide.

I don't understand where the foam filter goes, mine didn't come with one

These filters are guaranteed to fit the PetSafe® Drinkwell® Outdoor Dog, Everflow, Multi-Tier, Original, Platinum, Zen and Mini Pet Fountains. As use will vary between fountains, we recommend checking the manual for your specific fountain, to determine filter instructions.

How long does the filter last?

Filters help extend the life of your fountain and pump and should be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks.

Dogs will only drink flowing water

The only problem i have with the filters is my fountain takes one carbon and one foam but there's three carbon in the package and only one foam. I have a surplus
