Can this be used with a petsafe harness?

It is supposed to be used by itself, if you used it with a harness you would be holding 2 leashes.

some collars come with a padding that goes around the nose area, does this gentle leader have padding on it?

All PetSafe Premier Gentle Leaders now feature padding for the nose area. I've included an image for reference.

how do you tighten the nose piece

To adjust the nose loop, snap the neck strap high on the neck at it's pre-fitted position. Make the final adjustment to the nose loop by sliding the snap clamp up or down to adjust. With your thumb and index finger, pinch nose loop underneath the snap clamp, temporarily holding it. For further instructions, click on the 'Instructions' tab, just under the product photos, where the 'User Manual' is located.

Very effective at slowing down our puller, but gently. He doesn't love it, but he doesn't mind it much either. We chose a color that's the same as his fur, so it also mostly disappears. We of course take it off as soon as we stop at the dog park or anywhere off leash, and use it only on walks rather than out and about on errands when the regular harness or leash is fine.

Even though he still tries to take it off his face, the result was insta t. I screamed "THANK YOU UNIVERSE".I am a. Atheiss, Bingo stopped pullig me. Since he was so stubborn, I was shocked he how he did not pull me. I RECOMMEND THIS COLLAR TO PET OWNERS IF THEIR DOGS PULLS THEM. THIS IS INSTANCE RESULTS! Since I am on a fixed income, I am going to buy thr same color and size collar for Chase next month. I cannot wait to have them wear it together. AGAIN, BEST PRODUCT EVER.

Works for us!

I used to have the “no pull” harness that would go around my dogs chest and the leash would attach below the neck but that didnt really help. My dog still kind of

I used to have the “no pull” harness that would go around my dogs chest and the leash would attach below the neck but that didnt really help. My dog still kind of pulls sometimes with this but it helps SO much more than the other types of harness. Obviously every dog is different so it might not be good for everyone. Just make sure you give their nose a good rub n scratch after :) my dog always appreciates that!
