Easy Way to Treat Cats

I just call this an epipen. Instead of fighting with your cat - or being beat up by your cat - while trying to administer a pill to treat a skin condition, use this painless and unthreatening device. It measures out the prescribed dose through a soft felt tip that you just wipe onto the inside flap of the cat's ear.

Great product and less expensive than other sources

I have food auto-shiped from Chewy for both my furbabies, a cat and a dog, but had never ordered from the pharmacy. This summer our cat, Loki, was diagnosed with asthma and the vet prescribed prednisolone. Since it's impossible to get a pill or liquid meds in Loki, we tried the transdermal. The medication was fine from other pharmacies, but only Chewy offers exactly what we need at a much lower price. The consistency of the medication is perfect, and the click pen produces the exact amount necessary for each dose. I am thrilled to be able to add this to an auto-ship and save even more money. Plus, Chewy has the best customer service of any company I have purchased from. Thanks Chewy.

Prednisolone for cats by skin in their ears

I have found for my cats, that they have an easier time of me applying medicine to their ears, rather than by mouth. I'm so pleased Chewy had it in this form, because my vet didn't!

Great alternative to pill

My cat is very difficult when it comes to administering pills. This topical administration of this med has been a great relief for both cat and cat dad. Easy to administer and my cat tolerates it well. Part of our routine followed by a good brushing. I saw other reviews commenting on consistency being too watery. If stored in cool or room temp, it remains as solid as a lotion. Never had an issue with applying or consistency.

Works for my cat and affordable

This is the only option for my stressed out cat who will hide for days if I shove a pill down her throat. It's become part of our petting routine. It does get watery if left in a warmer area of the house. I now keep it in a cooler room and the consistency is perfect; like a thick lotion. This item was also a third of the cost my vet wanted to charge me. I'm happy I found it.

terrible product

This should have a lotion like consistency but is watery and immediately drips down the applicator before it can be applied. I get transdermal meds from another pharmacy where the consistency is lotion like and easy to apply. Additional what comes out seems unmixed and I am doubting my cat is getting the correct dosage. Whatever compounding pharmacy chewy’s is using is terrible. Don’t waste your time money

Don't recommend

This is worthless in my opinion. My cat has gotten sicker and now has to be on a higher dose pill and/or shot. Wish I could return it.
