My cat suffered from a urethral obstruction in addition to having some food sensitivities. This was recommended and it has been helpful in his healing process - he hasn't been blocked since he's been home and we've switched over. He seems to enjoy it and there wasn't any adjustment period. Out of an abundance of caution to avoid any future obstructions I also began feeding it to his brother and he enjoys it as well. He has a more sensitive tummy and hasn't had an issue with the food. Only downside is the price of the food.

Unfortunately fo a cat who is allergic to chicken he ended up with a blockage and crystals, so he has to go in the prescription diet. Normally all the diets for this have chicken. This hydrolyzed version seems to be working though and he will eat it if I mix some water down wet food or topper (again got to find chicken free). I like that I can get a huge bag at a time cause the cat is normal weight but is 20lbs so he eats two cups a day and the whatever I mix in.

My cat, who has allergy problems, vomited the first bite of this food. I'm tired of wasting my time and money, and I'm worried about what they put in these expensive foods that even stray cats won't eat. What kind of animal do they test it on before releasing it to the market??? It's a shame I have to return it, but I have no choice. I've tried hydrolyzed dry and wet food, and I haven't had any success with my cat.

My cat Lilly is prone to urinary crystals, she has been on this for a few years since finding out and we screen her urine annually, no crystals anymore! She also has a sensitive stomach and used to vomit multiple times weekly, the hydrolyzed helps and she vomits maybe 1-2 times a month. She is also very picky with eating and has never had an issue with this food, she always eats it. My other cat doesn’t need this food, but he loves the taste and will eat this over his own regular food!

I placed an order for dry cat food that required a doctor's script. The doctor's office delayed getting the prescription to Chewy. When they did, the sale on the food was over. I colled Chewy and they honored the sale, ordered the food and provided the expected time for the product to be delivered. They were very professional and made my transaction easy. They made me feel valued as a customer. Great job!

I’ve taken my cat Kiwi to the vet multiple times due to hairballs and throwing up at a frequency which I thought was abnormal. No other treatment, just switching from Hills Science CD Stress to this food has DRAMATICALLY decreased her tummy sensitivity/issues it seems. Lot less puke for me to clean up, definitely worth the money. Really glad that there is a food allergy AND urinary formula because both of my cats need either and many other brands had no options for me due to that.

She took the time to sort this order which require a prescription. I was able to email a copy to her because my vet is not open on a Monday. Aside from facilitating my order, she followed up with a wonderful and thoughtful email. These are the exact reasons replacing humans with AI would be a huge mistake. High-quality, fresh food at a competitive price

We always go to Chewy first because they almost always have the best quality at a lower or equal price than other sellers. This very specialized food is no exception

We always go to Chewy first because they almost always have the best quality at a lower or equal price than other sellers. This very specialized food is no exception. From the moment we ordered to the moment it arrived on our porch was less than two days. The food was fresh and our cat actually didn't complain about having a different food, which can often make cats finicky. We are slowly working it into his diet, replacing his current food a little more each day. Thanks to Royal Canin, too, for making this food.

Way too expensive how is anybody supposed to afford this?

The cost of Royal Canin pet food has reached an unreasonable and unethical level. An 11-pound bag is now priced at $158, a figure that places responsible pet ownership out of reach for many families. Mars, which owns Royal Canin, VCA, Banfield, and numerous other pet-related companies, is one of the wealthiest corporations in the world. As someone who works over 12 hours a day and relies on high-quality dry food to keep my pets nourished while I’m away, I find these increases unacceptable. Between manufacturer markups and retail upcharges, the system is failing pet owners and animals alike. Those setting these prices should be held accountable for putting profit above animal welfare.”**
