    Customer service uncharacteristically not helpful

    By on

The 5mg prednisolone tabs are currently out of stock so I called chewy customer service to see when the tabs would be in stock. Chris, the rep, said that they do not have that information on any of their products and by using the notify button I would get an email when the tabs were back in stock. Chewy customer service has given this information on other out of stock items in the past (within the last couple of months) and I used the notify button then as well but there was a delay between when it came back in stock and when I got my notification. I got that item as soon as it was back in stock because I kept checking the website. Notification came several days later. Possible Bad Active Ingredient

    By on

I thought I'd try this generic considering it's quarter the price or what I was paying at the specialist but as soon as I switched to the generic my sick kitty started to go down a little. It was like he was only getting half the amount of what he needed... I say this because recently with vet supervision we experimented with 2.5mg vs 5mg daily and his reaction to the generic was what happened when we reduced daily dosage. I wouldn't be apposed to trying a different batch from Chewy since they've taken good care of my animals for years now, this is quite surprising considering their brands are normally awesome.

Slow to refill an existing prescription

    By on

Submitted a refill requested on-line on 6/17/20 and immediately received a response informing me the order was being processed and I saw my credit card was charged that same day. On Monday, 6/20/30, and again on Wednesday 6/22/20, I received emails from rx@Chewy.com stating my cat’s vet was not responding to their requests regarding the refill that I had been told had been processed. The prescription was current and was refills were available from what I could see. The last email the Pharmacy sent stated the order would be canceled since they do not hear from my vet so I emailed back asking why they had charged my credit card immediately upon my refill request when they did not have authorization Submitted a refill requested on-line on 6/17/20 and immediately received a response informing me the order was being processed and I saw my credit card was charged that same day. Yesterday afternoon (Saturday 6/27/20), I received the subject refill by FedEx and it was shipped with two-day delivery. It does not appear I was charged for the faster delivery type. I will not use Chewy’s pharmacy services again and do not recommend them. … more

This medicine is exactly the same Prednisolone that I get from the Vet for half the price! And I love Chewy's fast and reliable delivery. Will definitely order again from Chewy!

I LOVE CHEWY-BUT THIS ORDER ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK

    By on

I ordered the pills in March, the order never got shipped, every day Chewy told me that my vet did not send thru the script, which he really did send twice--so I finally surrendered and cancelled the order-I decided to try again to order it, and the same thing happened--finally I got an agent believe her name is Morgan and she helped me straighten out your internal problem--as I said, I love Chewy, but the pandemic has made my life with Chewy somewhat of a nightmare. Thanks for finally getting my girl Harli the pills. Ayn

Nobody knows what they are doing there

First I ordered prescription food, regular food and prednisolone. My vet receives the authorization for the food and sends it back. He doesn't receive the authorization for the prednisolone. I call when it has been almost a week and no order. Sit on hold for over an hour. They tell me it takes 10 days now to get an order. Then I don't hear anything. I call again and again wait an hour on hold. My vet said they never got an authorization for the prednisolone. They FINALLY send out the authorization and it is returned the same day. I get an e-mail from the pharmacy saying they will review the authorization. THE BEST!!!!!

    By on

With everything going on with the COVID-19 right now, a huge issue took place with the medicine that it was not put in correctly and I was not getting it when I was told I would have it delivered. I spoke to a manager and if it was not for him, I would be in HUGE trouble for my cat not having her prescription. He went above and beyond to help me get what I needed immediately. NO ISSUES AT ALL! He was without a doubt the BEST Manager I have ever dealt with at many many companies. This is the best place to get excellent help to take care of your pets you love, because they are part of your family!
