The medications works exactly as it should for cats with thyroid issues; it stopped our cat's inappropriate urination. The problem I have faced over and over, and will now likely cause me to go back to physical prescription pickup, is that when Fedex loses your pet's medication (and they definitely will - it happens once or twice a year for me), Chewy will replace it for free, but it will eat another month's worth of refills to do it. This is my only single complaint about all of Chewy, but I cannot continue to be punished for Fedex's poor service.

My cat was 16 lbs (not fat, just a big boy) and got down to 10 lbs. After bloodwork determined he was hyperthyroid I started him on this medicine and within two weeks has started to put some weight back on. Of course I bought Pill Pockets and give him an empty one, then give him the one with the pill in it and then some wet food as a treat. He knows he has to eat both Pill Pockets first to get his canned food.

The item isn't amazing, it's basic medication. What is amazing is your staff. The order got gummed up due to the delivery service. The delivery was delayed, and I was leaving town with the cat on vacation. I called to see if the order could be cancelled, reordered and sent to where was going. The pharmacist ended up with my call. She blew my mind, honestly. She called the delivery service and rerouted the medicine to Texas instead of North Carolina and there were no gaps in care for my cat. I REALLY appreciated her and the help she provided. You guys are the best, thanks so much.

My cat has been on this since summer time. She’s gained weight. Previously she was about 5 lbs and now she’s about 6lbs. We feed it to her inside a pill pockets or pushed inside a soft whiskies treat. If you do the soft treat method, be aware if your cat is clever too, they will eat around the medicine to get the soft treat. So we give her the treat with & without the medicine, just so she’s not expecting it and eagerly eats it without a fuss.

We have been pilling the cat with this fairly successfully most days. I definitely know when she did not get her pill for one reason or another (the latest reason being the Chewy rep who cancelled the order nilly-willy because she did not know how to make the change to an autoship and we had no meds for 4 days). Nothing life-threatening, so today we got the pills we should have had. The cat probably enjoyed having her meals without having a pill shoved down her gullet. All it well.

I love how tiny this pill is. I just put some churu on it and give it to my cat and he'll accidentally lick it up. On top of that, cause it's so small he doesn't bother spitting it out, he's too busy greedily getting churus he just swallows it. It is very tiny but the hot pink color makes it easy to find if it falls out. Usually I just put a hand underneath his chin when giving it to him (and sometimes he'll go and lick it off the hand trying to get all the churu).

Worth the price difference for the coating.

This tablet makes pill time so easy. Not usually a fan of coloring, the fact that they are hot pink makes them easy to see when they don’t make it into kitty’s mouth

This tablet makes pill time so easy. Not usually a fan of coloring, the fact that they are hot pink makes them easy to see when they don’t make it into kitty’s mouth or go flying across the floor on occasion. They slide easily down her throat and I can literally open her mouth, tilt her head back and drop the tablet in and she swallows and it goes down easily. Of course I give her a dental chew treat afterwards just to make sure it goes all the way down. I use these twice a day for Adelaide and whatever the price difference is compared to the uncoated tabs, it is totally worth it for the ease of using these pills. They would not be good for splitting. I would think they would slide out of the pill cutter due to their roundness and hard & slick coated shell; they would probably split into fragments, but I have never tried to split them myself.

Very effective
