I bought 2 boxes to get the free shipping..thinking it would work. I sprinkled 1/2 packet (recommendation was 1 packet/day) on my cat's pate. He didn't like something about it and didn't eat it. I tried less powder, and he threw up a couple of times, but that could be a coincidence. I've used much less, and he's been eating it. The original problem was diarrhea, and I've been feeding the cat Purina Pro Plan, which he likes. Slowly, he's getting better (last month). Maybe it's due to Proflora, but I think it's more likely the Pro Plan.
Ordered Proflora for my kitty who has IBD. She was having a bout of diarrhea and after a week of metronidazole plus probiotic paste, no real improvement. I was looking to order a probiotic powder that she has had in the past (but she does not like the taste) then I saw Proflora and the good reviews. SO GLAD I ORDERED THIS! In 2-3 days she had normal stools! Mixing 1 powder packet in canned food once a day, she eats it right up. And Proflora costs less than the other powder I had used in the past. A happy cat, happy cat mom, a win win for sure!
I bought this for 2 of my seniors. It haas helped with diarhea and seem palatable.
My cat hates it i tried mixing it in dry and wet food but he will not touch it. i'm not saying it's not a good product if you can get your cat to eat it but since he won't touch it i don't know how well it works.
Works great , notice the difference within a week , very happy with the results & I well be buying more in the near future !!! Thank you very much CHEWY
My kitty has a lot of tummy issues and so far this help better than some other treatments she has been on.
I find that this product works great. Wouldn't use a whole packet at first for you can see how your pet responds to it. My kitty does well with it. I use it only if their is no probiotics in her food since she is elderly and their isn't a lot of nutrition value in it . Does the trick and her poop is bulky in a healthy way.
There are a number of probiotics on the market. I’ve tried several of these. I think that this one works better than the majority of what’s available. Nothing works quite as well aS addressing and resolving whatever the underlying issues might be that are causing the intestinal inflammation, but this is a great product with which to address the symptoms, and make your cat more comfortable while you are dealing with the underlying cause(s) of a problem.
I was hoping my cats would like this product but they did not. I will stick with Probios instead.
I agree with everyone. This worked for my cat within a day! AND he LOVES it!
