Fussy but will accept
I am pleased with the health benefits gained by switching to Purina Pro Plan. This is the second bag for sensitive stomachs. It has reduced basically to zero the spitting up. Stool is firmer. Tortellini's coat is shinier and soft. He has accepted the taste.
This was a miracle food for my cats allergies!
I have tried several different, limited ingredient, dry cat foods for one of my cats who is very prone to skin allergies. Sometimes the allergies got so bad that she had to be on prednisone for 30+ days just to get some relief. I decided to try this food after reading the reviews and I am so glad that I did! My cat is so much more comfortable. After being on this food for a month, she is barely scratching and all of her scabs and sores have healed up. I am forever grateful to Purina for providing a quality food that has helped my sweet Delphine. This food is a bit pricey, but it’s totally worth it to have a happy and healthy cat.

My husband and I were constantly cleaning up little places that our kitty’s would have tummy issues,since we switched to pro plan sensitive skin and stomach their issues have become almost nonexistent, it’s also a plus because I have a couple senior kitty’s who need wet food more than the younger ones I notice a big improvement in their appearance and overall health they seem to be gaining a little weight which is good
Not a favorite
We are looking to reduce allergy/itching/scratching and hoped the change in protein source would do the trick. It may work for others, but for our kits, the interest was not there. I'm sure it would help if they would eat this but.... sadly no luck here.
They Love it!
Including our foster cats, we have 8 cats in our home. Several are picky eaters so I have different dry foods available. My daughter uses the Purina Pro Plan dry food and brought a bag to our home when I was taking care of her 3 cats. My cats went nuts for it. I stopped buying three other brands of dry food because everyone likes this the best. I tried the sensitive skin and stomach in the Purina Pro Line and that helps with three of our cats who have problems.
Great for sensitive cats
We adopted our cat from the shelter a couple months ago. She was having diarrhea so we took her to the vet. No issues. We figured she would get over it. She did but her poop was still super wet and she was pooping very frequently. It would make her butt smell and was hard for her to clean. She has sort of long hair. I was feeding her grain free food. I decided if she is gonna have soft poop anyway I might as well get her a cheaper food. No joke, her poop firmed up immediately after we switched to this food. She has been getting hairballs here and there and we didn’t notice those before, so not sure if the food has to do with that, but we are very glad to have found this food!
My picky cat loves it
Had to change food for a cat that is having an outbreak of yeast infections of his ears. I have 3 cats and my older cat, she is super picky on her food so was nervous to switch. She loves the taste and now I can move forward with my revised food order.
Can’t rave about this food enough!
Our cats are absolutely obsessed with this food. We used to free feed dry food, but they scarf this stuff down to the point that we had to start limiting their portions as they were gaining weight like crazy! It’s absolutely worth adoption portion control for them, as they clearly love the food and we are astounded by the resulting health benefits. If possible, the cats’ humans are even more obsessed with the food than they are. After a month or two on the Pro Plan food, their coats are exceptionally soft, my cat who used to deal with skin itchiness and hyperesthesia has settled down, their hairballs are almost non-existent, and they both shed WAY less. We are blown away. Can’t believe we found a food that greatly satisfies cats and humans alike. We will absolutely stick to this food indefinitely! Only wish we had switched sooner.
Upset stomach
I tried this for my aging cat with skin issues. Unfortunately, though she seemed to like it at first, it clearly did not agree with her stomach. She vomited twice a day and would barely eat. Switched her back to purina One.
Purina's Dry Food for Cats
When I adopted Sophie, I was given the Purina Pro Plan dry food for her. She really enjoys eating it, and I use this as a supplement. I feed her wet food at night, and she has the dry food during the day. I ran out of it before I received my current order and purchased another for sensitive skin and stomach which she has been using for now. She loves her dry food, and with only one tooth, it amazes me when she eats. I will continue to use the Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach, as she tolerates it very well. I was going to be away for a few days and left the package on the stove for the gals taking care of her for me. This is what I found in the morning when I got up.
