Gray mush, tummy issues

At first sight this food looks awful. It’s gray mush. My picky poodle ate it mixed with his royal canin kibble. But his stomach never adjusted and he had diarrhea

At first sight this food looks awful. It’s gray mush. My picky poodle ate it mixed with his royal canin kibble. But his stomach never adjusted and he had diarrhea for DAYS. I couldn’t keep giving it to him in hopes it would help eventually. I know Purina pro is supposed to actually be good for dogs, but not for us. Back to the Weruva packs for us, and royal canin. Sad this didn’t work out.

So honestly, when I opened the can, the food looks downright ugly. Gray, solid, ugly. I don't know what it is, but finally I found a dog food my dog will eat! It might be that she has an underlying condition that the vet and myself are unaware of, but she is the finickiest eater I've ever met in a German Shepherd. As soon as I open this can up, she comes over, barely waiting for me to scoop it out onto her dry food. She eats it down right away - no walking away with her nose in the air which is typically what she does. I might have to try a small bag of lamb dry, (she eats beef now - allergic to chicken), but either way, this is her new go to canned food.

Somewhat disappointed

The product itself is fine. My dog’s sensitive stomach does pretty well on this food. 3 of the cans in the case were dented at the tops, breaking the seal & mold

My baby is super picky with an extra sensitive stomach, so it’s tough finding a dog food that’s easy on his digestion, healthy, and he likes to eat. As soon as I opened the can, he stood on his hind legs so I knew it was a winner. The smooth texture allows me to put it on his eating mat and he loves it. His food transition went smoothly without any digestion issues. I hope he continues to like it!

A lot of damaged cans

Changed up our food due to an EPI diagnosis and this was recommended. Most of the cans came damaged and 2 of them so far have had mold because the can was compromised

It seems very mushy and grey for it to be a lamb recipe. It’s unfortunate because I thought it would help her digestion. Maybe it would work for another dog breed, mine is a German Shorthaired Pointer.

My Dog Hated It!

I have fed my dog other flavors of Purina Pro Plan, and she has enjoyed them, but she absolutely hates this particular flavor, and I can’t say that I blame her

I have fed my dog other flavors of Purina Pro Plan, and she has enjoyed them, but she absolutely hates this particular flavor, and I can’t say that I blame her. First of all, it looks nothing like the picture, so I consider that false advertising. It has an ugly grayish color and a gummy texture. It had a strange odor, too, not rotten, but definitely not good. It’s no wonder that she took two bites and walked away, even though she was clearly hungry. The food sat in her bowl for hours and I finally threw it away when it was no longer safe for consumption. I ordered a case, so that was a huge waste of money. I would donate the rest of the cans to my local animal shelter, but I’m not sure I want to subject those poor dogs to this disgusting mess.
