Inconsistent
This brand was recommended by my dachshund's vet. The blend between the "shredded beef" and kibble is very inconsistent. The past few bags have been virtually all kibble, with a miniscule amount of shredded beef. The delivery, pricing and service of Chewy is great, but this brand of dog food has left my picky dachshund disappointed (and hungry!) frequently.
Great For Picky Poodle
My toy poodle is notorious for turning his nose up at his food no matter what toppers I try. I recently switched him off of a Hill’s Science Diet small breed kibble and he’s cleaned his bowl for two weeks straight now! He really likes the bite of beef inside the kibble :)
Great product
We have an older French bulldog who is very picky about his food because of teeth issues. Well low and behold he loves this one!
This seems to be the best food for my baby girl! Have tried it all! She has crazy allergies like most frenchies do but this works best and she loves it.

one picky one not
I have a very picky Chihuahua. She 12 and I have alway had problems with her eating. I switch back and forth between beef and chicken pro plan small breed. She will only eat the rough looking kibble! lol! She takes a mouthful runs 5 feet and puts it on the floor. Digs through to find the not round pieces! Her fav! But that’s ok, my Boston will clean up the mess left behind!
Proplan
The last two bags (6 lb specialized and 35 lb proplan shredded beef and rice have very very little shredded beef. I am disappointed and they are too.
Our Chihuahuas love this
The bite size is perfect for small dogs plus they like. My smallest Chihuahua is 4 lbs she can eat the small kibble no problem.
