What is the HEIGHT of the back and sides?

The height of the back and sides is 12.4 inches in height. Additionally, the front entrance height is 5.5 inches in height.
Will cat pan liners work well in this type of pan?

This litter box does not require liners.
What is the step in height in the front? What are the useable interior dimensions for the litter?

The front entrance height is 5.5 inches. The top and bottom interior dimensions are different, due to the shape of this litter box. The top interior measures 19 inches long x 15.5 inches wide. The bottom interior measures 12.5 inches long x 12.5 inches wide (without step) and 19 inches long x 12.5 inches wide (with step).
How easy is it to clean?

Both cats love them

Both our cats liked them right away. One cat sometimes spray pees up higher so this was perfect solution. Boxes could be larger though....cats have hard time circling around in them

not designed with cats in mind

Bought it to go inside the penn-plax cabinet and it was a perfect fit! Unfortunately this box seems to be designed with only a perfect use scenario in mind: a cat that walks in to this box and turns around to face out. The entry cut out is so low that it basically voids the entire point of having a high walled box. It's basically like having a three walled box, since it's also raised underneath the grate so if your cat is pointing their spray towards that point it all just bounces out. The grate/step is supposed to help minimize litter splatter, but it just kinda plugs in and is easily popped off by the cats while trying to cover the waste that *does* manage to stay inside the box. Sadly going to have to throw this one away after less than a week of use.

Not the best litter box

This box is a little too small. Also, the step inside takes up too much room and has to be constantly cleaned since the pet doesn't realize not to do anything on it. I wouldn't recommend, unless for a very small kitten.

No no no this was not worth it. So cute but not

I love the color. The step is a great idea in theory. But the corners by the step. It's impossible to clean. It seems like it's sized for a miniature cat . This is not good for someone elderly or disabled. It's so incredibly difficult to clean.

Okay litterbox

We have cats that spray in the litterbox and over shoot. It has helped tremendously as it is really tall. It is a smaller litterbox so really big cats may not prefer it. Our biggest is about 13 lbs and I wouldn’t recommend it for bigger. The other pain in the butt thing is that the step is supposed to help reduce litter flying out but it doesn’t. Most of our cats just hop out or over the sides. Also sometimes ours will pee on that step and therefore I have to take it off and clean it and the box under it. The step also does make it hard to scoop so I have to clean the corners there with paper towels. I don’t regret the purchase and it works for our purpose. It also gives our cats another type of box to use. I think depending on the cat and household is how I would recommend it or not.

Nightmare to clean

Would give negative stars if possible. Great in theory, horrible in execution. Not only is the litter catcher ineffective, but the corners where it lies also are a clumping zone for litter that is nearly impossible to clean out. I almost threw it out instead of cleaning it and am debating on even giving it to a shelter or if they’ll be worse off by having this compared to a throwaway baking pan. I was going to include a picture but couldn’t get myself to do it. Disgusting and a complete waste of money. The back also isn’t big enough for my male cat who still managed to pee outside of the back.

Great litter pan!

This is a wonderful litter pan, lovely color which was such a pleasant change from my ugly black litter pan. Lightweight with really high sides. I am SO glad I bought these. the little step really works to catch the litter, I love it.
