Details

Canine osteoarthritis (OA) is both a common and chronic condition that many dogs are diagnosed with. Rimadyl is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory prescription medication (NSAID) used to help relieve the pain and inflammation associated with OA, joint abnormalities, and can also help relieve pain from surgery. Over 26 million dogs have been treated with Rimadyl, making it one of the most trusted NSAID prescribed by vets. By giving your dog one or two tasty, liver-flavored chewable tablets a day, you can help manage his pain and inflammation, so he can stay active and continue his daily dog duties. We directly source prescription medications from manufacturers and wholesale distributors registered with the FDA and licensed by applicable state boards. Guaranteed genuine, and where applicable, backed by the manufacturer.

The OA Pain Medicine Most Trusted by Vets

Rimadyl was the first FDA-approved nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for dogs and the most widely approved and recognized by veterinarians. [1] It’s been used to treat over 29 million dogs and counting. [2]

Rimadyl Helps Dogs Get Back to Their Lovable Selves

In one study, dogs showed visual improvements in energy, happiness, activity level, and comfort in just two weeks. [3] When used as directed by your veterinarian, Rimadyl can help relieve the effects of OA, a painful, progressive disease.

Conveniently Offered in Two Forms

Rimadyl is available in both caplet and chewable form. Rimadyl Chewables come in a palatable liver-flavor, designed to taste good to dogs. Keep Rimadyl in a secured storage area out of reach of your dog and other pets. Ask your veterinarian what’s best for your dog.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

As a class, NSAIDs may be associated with gastrointestinal, kidney, and/or liver side effects. These are usually mild but may be serious. Pet owners should discontinue therapy and contact their veterinarian immediately if side effects occur. Evaluation for preexisting conditions and regular monitoring are recommended for pets on any medication, including Rimadyl. Use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids should be avoided. After the pills were delivered our dog ate through the box and pill container and at all 30 pills at once. The vet thought he must have smelled them through the packaging. We almost lost him. He was in the hospital for days and it cost several thousand dollars. If you are going to deliver good smelling packages to homes with pets you should make sure they’re pet proof for everyone’s safety.

Miss Annabelle is a pitbull bulldog boxer mix. We rescued her from a very bad breeder in our area. This left most of the dogs rescued from the same breeder to all have joint issues. My baby had arthritis at 3 years of age. Since she started taking these daily her mobility has improved dramatically. She doesn't limp or favor her weak joints. She zoomies with gusto and doesn't hurt after. They are worth the price to keep her happy and healthy for as long as she lives.

The brand name medication was very affordable compared to other sites! Our dog takes the brand name without a problem which is why I will pay the premium price. I didn't want the aggravation of having to hide a generic pill in cheese or butter. She knows the difference!

Unfortunately my dog had the side effects listed and that my vet warned about so I had to stop it. However, when she was taking it, it was like she was back to old self within a week. Everyone noticed she was more active and no longer limping. If your dog can handle it, I think it’s worth a try if offered by your vet.

Another prescription not carried at the local pharmacies.

Can't get it at the local pharmacies, the vets office is an hour away & my girl can't go a day without her Rimadyl. Luckily Chewy delivers it to our door.
