Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

Can I feed a little bit of this mixed with my 5 month old’s giant puppy food? Just for added taste?

This Maxi Joint Care recipe is for large dogs of all breeds 15 months and older.
Is this joint care okay for small breeds? Is it available in smaller size containers?
Answer by • Nov 05, 2019
This formula is suitable for Small Breeds, Medium Breeds, and Large Breeds. It is currently available in 13.5-oz cans only.
Would this be okay to feed a dog that weights 45lbs? I can’t find a joint care food in his weight bracket.
Answer by • Nov 01, 2019
This food is OK to feed to a 45-lb dog. Low activity dogs of this weight are recommended to get 2 1/4 cans per day, medium activity dogs get 2 3/4 cans per day and high activity dogs get 3 cans. You should always consult with your vet before making any changes to your pet's diet.
My dog gobbled this up! He had become a very picky eater and I tried this and he loved it!

Royal Canin
Food is very wet. Don’t like the pull tab tops. Hard on old hands and half the time only the tab comes off, not the top. Dog likes the food, but he’s not picky.

my dog craves this.
I have the pickiest dog in the world. Just got a new vet and she recommended this plus the dry food for him. His coat is way shiner, he has more energy now and better breath. He and I do a lot so it’s nice to know he has a food that’s watching out for his joints

My dog is a super picky husky
My am dog is super picky and I’ve tried so many other types of husky recommended foods until he tried this one, it was the first time I put him out a can and he immediately started showing down. I did research this is super vet recommended and healthy for your Siberian Husky 10/10 I would say my husky himself Anubis would give it a good 8/10
