About Royal Canin Dermatology For Dogs

Worried About Your Dog’s Skin Health?

Skin health concerns are common, and issues can appear anywhere on your dog’s body. Your veterinarian is the expert on your dog’s health, so you should always consult with this trusted advisor to find the best solutions for your pet. This specialized expertise is why Royal Canin works closely with veterinarians to develop formulas that support skin health.

Common Causes of Skin Health Concerns

Environmental Sensitivities

Pollen, plants and dust are environmental factors that can trigger an immune response in some dogs.

Food Sensitivities

Your veterinarian may recommend a diet elimination trial to help determine if your pet has a sensitivity to certain proteins in his current diet.

Parasites

Your dog can pick up external parasites such as mites, fleas, ticks and lice from contaminated sources, both indoors and out.

Infection

Puppies, older dogs, and dogs that have recently been ill may be more susceptible to bacterial infections that can lead to skin health issues.

How Can Nutrition Help?

Your veterinarian may recommend a Royal Canin Dermatology formula for your dog. These special formulations can:

Aid digestive health by regulating movement through the GI tract and supporting balanced digestive flora

Support the skin’s natural protective barrier

Aid cellular health with a complex blend of antioxidants.

Promote healthy skin and coat by providing long chain omega-3 fatty acids in the diet

Find The Perfect Balance

With a dry and wet feeding routine, dry food supports positive oral health while wet food supports healthy hydration.

Autoship

Keep your cat's feeding on schedule.  Set your order for Autoship to make sure you always have their veterinarian-recommended nutrition on hand.

Great Option for Food Sensitive Dogs

My vet recommend this food after struggling for years with my dog having food sensitivities and chronic diarrhea (later diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease). Prior to finding this food my dog never wanted to eat and was always ill. This food was a miracle for him. It is easily digestible and now he begs for his dinner!

Royal Canin Order

This was my first order, and the person I talked to was very helpful, and spent the time necessary to answer my questions, and explained the process. I will be ordering again.

Perfect Food for Dogs with all kinds of issues

The food itself: Smells fresh The food size is approximately the size of a USD quarter How it worked with my puppy: This food is very good, worked out well with my dog who is allergic to almost everything. The only issue is that she is too spoiled, and only eats what she wants (she tried once and stopped eating for 3 days). Otherwise the food is perfect.

what a shame

what filler are you adding that takes eight cups for a days value of food. dog is still hungry. six cups should keep dog of his size and activity at weight. for the cost will look at other options - making the raw food $4.79 a lb look better all the time

DON'T EVEN THINK OF TAKING AWAY HER CHEWY!!!

My wonderful Chocolate Lab, Sophie, has been on Chewy dog food since she was born and, because of the way she "attacks" her meals, I would NEVER dream of feeding her anything else!! She is 10 years old, and acts like she's 3 years old!!! Her favorite thing in the WORLD??? My hand with a tennis ball in it!!! Thank you SO MUCH for your product.

Looking in all the right places

We have all felt the impact of the supply chain issue. It is a bit more scary when you have a dog on prescription dog food due to an autoimmune disease. Very difficult to find this product in the brick and mortar stores. Chewy is the right place: not only carries the product, but had it in stock!! Thank you Chewy -

Good, but very expensive!

This dogfood went over great with my dog, and has helped with her auto immune issues. Good stuff, but not cheap!
