  • Worth every penny

My golden retriever has a lot of difficult food allergies and a very sensitive stomach. After struggling with almost nonstop diarrhea and vomiting on many other foods, our vet recommended this and the difference is amazing. Her bathroom trips are very regular, no more urgency or frequency that previously led to accidents. Her appetite is back to normal, she eats well without getting an upset stomach, and it's even helped to soothe allergic reactions on her skin and paws. Her coat is healthy and shiny, she sheds less and she doesn't itch. I hesitated to spend the extra money at first, but after a month I can see how much better she looks and feels. It's worth every cent! I would absolutely recommend My golden retriever has a lot of difficult food allergies and a very sensitive stomach. • Bulldog bliss!

    By on

My olde English Bulldog has trouble with ear infections and skin issues. After 2 days on this food she looked like a different dog. She also ate it up like it was a treat. I got dry and canned so I could freeze some of the canned for treats since she's not supposed to have anything else but this food. I highly recommend this food.

  • Better price, availability and quick delivery for prescription dog food

    By on

Last year, when our dog's special prescription food became unavailable at all the local pet stores, someone suggested we try Chewy. Sure enough, it was available at Chewy for a great savings. We have since reordered it along with the canned version, and Chewy coordinated with the vet for prescription updates. Very happy customer!

My vet recommended this food for my dog after ten months of health issues. Along with new meds and this food, both the dry and canned versions, he is worlds better! He is no longer having stomach upsets AND he loves this stuff! I love the convenience of ordering it on line and the speedy delivery. Thank you.

Our veterinarian prescribed Royal Canin Veterinary Diet for Dolly while we try to figure out what is causing her to be so itchy. Dolly immediately fell in love with the new food, and has thrived on it. She thinks it is the best!

This food is great! My dog has Inflammatory Bowel Disease and this is the only food that she can digest. She loves it and gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks on this diet. It has saved her life. Will definitely continue using this brand.

  • perfect for dogs that have skin allergies

    By on

My Maltese was having really bad allergic reactions to the point that she would pull off her hair and her skin would get cherry red. My Vet recommended this food and ever since the switch her hair has grown back and she doesn't pull it out anymore and she has calmed down tremendously

  • Very Low Calorie Dog Food

    By on

I have been using this food for over 1 year as my dog has allergies. My vet recommended. Then I found Natures Variety LID duck which also does the job THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH ROYAL CANIN is the recommended daily feeding requirements. 5 1/4 cups a day vs. 3.5 cups per day for Natures Variety. Royal Canin has 287 calories per cup vs 446 calories for Natures Variety. My 75 pound dog won't eat 5 1/4 cups per day. So if you think is is an expensive food you are right. Almost 2 cups of food per day more. Wow! I would only use this food as my last option.

  • Picky eater seems to love it

    By on

Changed food to see if it made a difference in my very allergic wire's oily coat and body odor. Too soon to tell if it will help but he seems to really like the food. If the odor goes away, I'll upgrade the rate to 5
