Royal Canin wet
To all those experiencing dilemmas please call Customer Service at Royal Canin directly! They are the ones that need to hear you and can work on them. Chewy as great as they are can't do anything to make this better for you!! Complaining on this site certainly makes others aware of what you are experiencing but that is as far as it goes. Call Royal Canin!!!!
Cat will eat this
My kitty 11yrs old, has IBS and he likes this wet food better than the Hill’s ID prescription can food. He doesn’t exactly gobble it down but he eats it. Much less vomiting. Only drawback- very expensive but we do anything to make them feel better, no?
Dang it! I opened up a can today after waiting for quite some time for it to come back into stock and there is barely any gravy in it. My cat only licks the gravy and this doesn’t have hardly any and this is so disappointing. Especially considering the price of these and I ordered three cases! She licked a little bit of it but there is not enough in it. I’m going to have to find something else for her. I guess I’ll be returning these as well. Come on RC bring back the gravy!!
All 4 of my cats (siblings) have sensitive stomachs. They were eating the non-prescription version (Royal Canin Digest Sensitive Thin Slices in Gravy) and I switched to the prescription when it was out of stock. This food looked and smelled similar with dark brown large (not thin slices) pieces of food in a thicker dark brown gravy; so my cats had no issues with the change. The cases I received in January looked and smelled completely different. Light brown, thin, small pieces in a yellowish, more watery gravy. My cats did not care for it. I called Royal Canin and they said nothing has changed. The cases of food I received in February were "normal". I am unsure if it was a one month issue; however, because the consistency was night and day, I have cancelled my auto ship. With 4 cats, I go through a lot of food and do not want to wonder what food I will receive, especially with the food shortage; and then have to ship it back because Royal Canin changes it without notice.
What is going on??
This used to be my go-to and my cats favorite food, but recently not only has it consistently been out of stock, but when I did finally get my order, the labels are half unglued, and it’s no longer has any gravy, it’s on the dry side. The quality and product have definitely changed. Last night was the worst though, and confirmed my suspicion that the product has completely changed. There were blobs of uncut food in the cans (pic attached). This is disgusting and unacceptable. I have canceled my autoship and will be looking for a replacement food.
Fussy kitty likes it
Hi I'm Sidney, and I lost some of my teeth and have digestion issues. I love this and eat more than my usual birdlike bites. I am almost back to my normal weight.
So healthy for my cat
Recently my 10 year old cat developed hyperthyroidism and was having gastrointestinal problems associated with it. She was not eating her other food and was losing weight. Her veterinarian prescribed Royal Canin Gastrointestinal wet and dry formula diet for her as well as medication for her thyroid. She really loves this food, it seems easy on her tummy and her coat is beginning to shine again. She has gained a few ounces. She looks healthy again.
I really hope this product returns
My cat loves this food and it's such a shame Royal Canin is experiencing these supply issues. I've been left to giving her the dry version of this food. Luckily she is good about upping her water intake in lieu of wet food but I really hope this comes back. Other options have not worked out.
horrible supply chain
This seems to really work and my cat loves it, but like much Royal Canin food it is constantly out of stock. I’ve noticed that the other formulas I’ve ought have been changing, as have the can sizes. The issues now have been going on long enough it leaves me to believe it’s a mismanagement issue. Fine for another manufacturer to take advantage here and develop something as good!
We tried this when the R/C Satiety food was not available. Our girls prefer morsels rather than loaf. They love this!
