If it doesn't need refrigerated, what is the shelf life once opened? Is it recommended that you discard the product after so many days/months like other fish oils?

Answer by ChewyJun 19, 2022
This supplement has a shelf life of 3 years once opened. It is recommended to store the formula in a cool dark place. Refrigeration is recommended if home or cabinets are too warm.

What specific types of marine animals/fish are in the "Marine Lipid Concentrate" ingredient? My cat has food allergies, including to some species of fish. Thank you!

Answer by ChewySep 10, 2020
The marine lipid concentrate in this supplement is made up of anchovies and sardines. These small fish come from the pristine waters of Norway.

What is the marine lipid

Can this be used for my 13 week old lab puppy? If not is the an equivalent for her? At what age can you start this supplement?

Answer by ChewyDec 16, 2020
The Ultra EFA can be safely given to puppies once they have reached 6 months of age. A good starting dose is ¼ teaspoon a day divided between feedings. Start with a very small amount to avoid any sort of gastric distress.

There was no way to tell how much you were giving. The markers on the plastic syringes from work were melting off. I would suggest glass pipettes for how many mL’s. That was easier for me. It gave my cat waffles really bad food aversion. He wouldn’t eat his wet food for about a month, and only ate his dry food in small portions. It was quite alarming. I stopped it immediately. My other cats were ok but they were not thrilled about the oil. Looking for alternatives

Helps minimize cysts and blood sacs

Our vet told us an Ultra EFA product would help us minimize the number of these liquid-filled sacks that seem to appear around his neck. When they burst they aren't

Our vet told us an Ultra EFA product would help us minimize the number of these liquid-filled sacks that seem to appear around his neck. When they burst they aren't pretty or healthy so we tried the EFA. I will say they still come back but definitely not as frequently as before.

I just started giving my medium hair cat this supplement two weeks ago. He has extremely sensitive skin and has issues with allergic reactions showing up in form of skin and ear irritation. I can already see such a huge difference since starting to give him this supplement! His coat is super soft, dryness and dandruff gone, and his ears have cleared up significantly. Also am noticing a little less shedding! I’m so grateful!
