Now my rabbit has mites
The only thing that has changed in my bunny's life in the past month is using this bedding instead of a the normal brand we used to buy. Bunny now has a mite infestation, and we're going through the joy of treating that.
No Odor!!!
I use these in my rabbit's litter box. They are super absorbent and there is no smell or dust. These pellets have allowed me to change the litter pan less often.
Odorless, Makes a Mess, and causes Mites.
Mites live in this and will get on your rabbit. They make a mess and this is much harder to clean than normal litter
Absorbent and odor controlling
I love this bedding! It is so absorbent and pretty good at eliminating odors! I didn’t know my rabbits litter box smelled so bad untill I switched to another paper bedding! They also sent me a little card with a couple of cute guinea pigs, that brightened my day. A little expensive but the 25 lbs is still a great deal for its quality. (Once they did give me the wrong size, but it was my mistake for not contacting them and telling them the problem.). Also good for lionhead bunnies, the bedding doesnt stick to their fur
Mixed Feelings
I was really excited to try this bedding for my bunnies because I have heard really good things about it. My bunnies aren't bonded yet, so they have separate spaces and litter boxes. For one of my bunnies, this litter worked really well. It absorbs urine and holds the smell. However, my other bunny immediately started eating the bedding when I poured it in his litter box and I had to remove them right away. Thankfully it didn't cause any stomach upset, but I definitely recommend monitoring your bunny the first time you try this bedding in case you run into the same issue.
Fresh Bedding and litter
I use pine pellets for bunny bedding and cat litter. I have bought a few different brands, and this brand is the winner. Other brands smell off, or stale, or like chemicals. This brand smells fresh and clean and like pine. I'm really sensitive to smells, and this is the only one that doesn't bother me.
JUST BUY IT!!!
I have try tons of litter and this is by far the best. I just can't say enough good things about it. It is extremely absorbent and lasts forever. It's so good you only need the smallest amount. It has amazing odor control and is the most cost effective. So please just buy it your bun will thank you.
NOT for rats
I wanted to like this so bad for the value but when I put my hand in the bag it came out covered in sawdust which is not good for rat respiratory systems. The smell isn’t overbearing to me but it probably is to the rats. Stick to paper pellets for their litter boxes!
Works great!
I use these in the litter box/kitchen area of my guinea pigs’ cage. The pellets work well to absorb any pee, smell like pine, and very few get onto the fleece of the rest of the cage.
Pellet Beddinf
This stuff is awesome. My rabbit unfortunately never officially picked a potty corner to use so I use this in the whole bottom of her cage. Waited to write the review until I after I cleaned it out. It expands a lot, so only a thin layer is needed. The smells is managed sooo much better for some reason. My rabbit also seems cleaner than with normal pine shavings. I also love that I don’t have pine shavings all over the floor around her cage now. I’m not sure why other people had an issue with cleaning it out, I just dumped it over our hill in the woods and it all came out just fine. I think it’ll cost a little more, but it’s so much nicer all the way around…for me and my bun bun.
