Rambunctious kittens might have a good time with these foam balls, but my mature cats (6 years old) had zero interest in them. My cats prefer toys that they can sink their teeth into. One cat, Kazie, loves his single white fuzzy earmuff, and carries it around every day. And Fitz’s favorite toy is part of a plastic tampon applicator (the plunger part that doesn’t touch anything gross). He attacks it ferociously and makes the cutest little mews while doing so. Cats are weird and love it when you spend tons of money on them, so they can choose the thing that was ultimately free. I still recommend making the effort to have a variety of toy types around so cats can choose their favorites. The balls are more like dollar store material, but it’s a decent option if you need to fill out your cart a little to get free shipping.

I was looking for the prefect 1.5” balls for my 6 lb Yorkie. I thought I found the perfect balls until I noticed little pieces missing from the ball. She was eating the balls. I gave the balls to my friend who has cats. The cats love them! Still looking for the perfect 1.5” ball for a ball pit. (She also takes off the covers off all her tennis balls too.)

Malcolm has several balls with bells but actually prefers balls without. For some reason he is not so enthralled with these, not sure if it is the feel or something else. Actually his absolute favorites are his ping pong balls in various colors. Between those and the springs he has from Chewy.....he is content for most of the night rolling them around.

My three-year-old, 6 lb female cat, sweetie pie fell in love with a ball similar to these from a variety pack. She would lose them very quickly. Because of their texture they are easy for her to put in her mouth and carry around and she loves that. I saw this pack that was all that kind of ball and was excited to order it. At first, I was disappointed when they arrived because they were actually twice the size of the one she already had. However, she loves them just as much and they don't get lost under the refrigerator and stove.

I got these based on a review saying their cat couldn't tear them apart. Mine are apparently SAVAGE. I guess tear apart isn't quite right. They clearly bite and claw at them as they end up looking like the crinkle balls with how many different shredded pieces there are. Sorry for not photo. I tossed them once they got shredded. I'm still finding pieces scattered around my home. Two stars because the cats clearly love them but they don't last.
