These balls do not have anything inside to make noise.
Okay, so I have 2 questions...1.) How big in diameter are these balls? The description states that they are 1.5", but some people in the reviews said they are over 2"? 2.) What material are these made of? Are they safe for pets (not just Cats) to chew? Thanks!

SmartCat Toy Box Balls are just the right size for use with the SmartCat Peek-a-Prize Toy Box and Peek & Play Toy Box. Each ball is approximately 1.5 inch in diameter and made of foam.
Are these balls squishy or hard? My cat loves the ones you can squish a little, not solid ones.

Best Foam balls!

My cat loves these! They fit great in the SmartCat wooden box with holes, that she moves around to get treats out. I put 3 or more balls in the box along with treats and she has so much fun hunting around for the treats. When the treats are eaten, she bats the balls that she knocks out of the box around the room. These balls roll well on carpeting and the texture is perfect for hooking with her paws. Good price for keeping her entertained while I'm at work. I try to keep extras on hand because the balls seem to vanish somewhere under furniture.

Cat Loves batting around

Our new little Cat loves to smack balls around. We bought these because who knows where they will be found and walked on! They r quiet, colorful and she picks them up and carrys them around. Well made. Love them...says Ellies new baby sister Lexie

Not too interested in these.

I know these are replacement balls for a toy, but I purchased these because my cat likes lighter weight balls. She's not super interested in these. Prefers ping pong balls. They work in pinch though, like when I'm too busy/lazy to fetch ping pong balls out from under the furniture. lol

Perfect for Cats

These balls are perfect for cats--right size, interesting colors, quiet and do not bounce. My cat, who is 4 years old, likes to play alone or with us, which is great! She also likes to rest her head on the ball and go to sleep when I put it in her bed.

rainbow ball

My Dandylion loves to play soccer. These balls fly when he bats them. They also do not break if you step on them. I think he misses the bell inside. But I think he likes how fast they roll

Cats love them!

These balls are made to go into the box toy with holes where the cat works to get the balls out of the box. But very quickly my cat removes the balls from the box, and then she has a blast playing with the ball all over the room. Because the balls are very light weight and the cover of the ball is made of a felt-like material, the cat can grab it with her claws and throw it across the room. Great fun watching!

No interest

My cats had no interest in these toys. They really enjoy balls but not these. The balls did not bounce either.

Lots of fun for kitten

I throw these in the dry bathtub and let my kitten play "soccer" with them. She really enjoys it.

These are great but don't last long

These are very light weight. My cat bites into them and it leaves little holes all over the call until it's just a little ball of holes. She doesn't play with it often but it's nice to add to the toy collection
