All the Benefits of
Raw Nutrition
Give your stealthy carnivore all the meat she can dream of with Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Dinner Morsels. For pet parents that don't have time to prepare fresh raw foods or to wait for frozen food to thaw, freeze-dried is the best answer. These bite-size nuggets give kitties a feast of meat, organ and bones just like their wildcat ancestors. And to meet all of their nutritional needs, these recipes are formulated with added vitamins and minerals, probiotics and taurine.
The Prey Model Diet
It's only natural that your cat craves real meat—her body is designed to eat a diet that relies heavily on it. Stella & Chewy's makes it easy to feed your domesticated feline friend this prey model diet. Each recipe has 98% meat, nutrient-rich organs and bone, and there are no added hormones or antibiotics. All you have to do is rehydrate and serve. In just one minute, you'll have a wholesome, protein-rich dinner for your hungry tiger. As a bonus, she gets more water in her diet to keep her hydrated to support urinary tract health.
Raw Feeding Helps:

Minimal Processing,
Maximum Flavor
Heavy processing of ingredients can diminish the nutritional value. But with freeze-dried, the end product still retains its beneficial nutrients. Frozen raw nuggets go into a freeze-dryer to remove moisture without ever applying heat or letting them thaw. So they come out with all the flavor, vitamins, minerals, omegas and amino acids they went in with. Plus, you'll never have to keep it in the freezer or defrost it.

Innovative Food
Safety Technology
Food safety is always a concern, especially with raw foods. Stella & Chewy's takes every precaution with their SecureByNature food safety process that's recognized by the USDA and FDA. The ingredients undergo a special, 100% natural cold-press process that creates water pressure similar to that found near the ocean's floor. No harmful bacteria can survive, and there's no heat to damage nutrients and diminish flavor. Each batch is tested by an independent lab, and the results are even posted online for you to see.
Ethically Sourced Ingredients
Stella & Chewy's sources everything that goes into your pet's food from reputable suppliers that guarantee the integrity of the ingredients. Meat, poultry and fish are responsibly sourced from all over the world. The wholesome fruit and vegetables are certified organic, and nothing comes from China.

About Stella & Chewy's
The story of Stella & Chewy's starts with two lucky rescue dogs named Stella and Chewy—and Chewy was a pretty sick pup. Their new pet parent, Marie Moody, started both of her new family members on a raw diet, and she watched them thrive. Eager to bring the same amazing prey model diet to other pets, Marie soon developed innovative food safety measures to create her own version of raw pet food—the Stella & Chewy's frozen and freeze-dried dinners and mixers that you know and love.

Great nutrition. Loved by all.
By Crystal on Feb 7, 2021
Stella & Chewy is one of the two best quality and most palatable freeze-dried cat foods available. Every single one of my cats through the years have loved this line. No fillers in this food! The only things to watch for are potential constipation issues arising in susceptible cats and the need to crumble the pellets to avoid choking if the food is eaten dry. I have had two boys who cannot have the food due to preexisting issues with constipation. None of my crew will eat the food reconstituted with water, they all eat it dry. Their main diet consists primarily of locally produced raw food along with some canned, and they get the freeze-dried for daily snacks, crumbled onto canned foods, and Stella & Chewy is one of the two best quality and most palatable freeze-dried cat foods available. Their main diet consists primarily of locally produced raw food along with some canned, and they get the freeze-dried for daily snacks, crumbled onto canned foods, and for the occasional meal. In the dry form it has been highly helpful in getting ill cats to eat, it works akin to us eating crackers when we have a stomach bug or are nauseous. This food has been immensely helpful to my cat Ruby who has pancreatitis, during bouts of this illness it is the only food she can keep down. The only limitation I have to feeding Stella & Chewy is the Outrageous Cost of the product. … more

Our cat devours this! It is healthy and every meal is as fresh as fresh can be!
By Smokester on Feb 9, 2021
I received my package with the frozen, raw, organic turkey for my little Smokester. As always, it arrived in a styrofoam box packed with ice and dry ice, inside of a large cardboard box. It was perfectly frozen and even though the snowstorm delayed it for a whole day, the bags of ice and dry ice were still mostly full, and the bag of frozen, raw, organic turkey was absolutely and perfectly frozen. Each portion of turkey looks like a big, thick hockey puck, and each one was perfectly frozen. None of them were stuck together the way frozen food is when it gets left out too long; no, this company upholds the high standards I always look for. He wouldn’t have needed another bag so soon, but our I received my package with the frozen, raw, organic turkey for my little Smokester. Each portion of turkey looks like a big, thick hockey puck, and each one was perfectly frozen. None of them were stuck together the way frozen food is when it gets left out too long; no, this company upholds the high standards I always look for. He wouldn’t have needed another bag so soon, but our freezer went out, so I had to discard the one we had and reorder. Back when I first introduced this food to Smokester, he needed a topper or a mixer to entice him to eat it, since it was totally different from his shreds with gravy canned food. So I would add a topper and I’d cheer him on as he would eat, saying “That’s a good job, Smokester, eating your baby wildcat food! That’s my baby wildcat!” and he just loved that. It made him feel proud. When our freezer went out and we were without this for a few days, he really missed this food. He kept asking for it and at mealtimes, he would lead me to the shelf of the refrigerator where I would always keep it. He was so disappointed when that wasn’t what was in his bowl. I felt so bad for him. Smokester saw the Chewy box and happily ran to the refrigerator in the hopes that his food had arrived. I hadn’t defrosted any yet, but I took out one frozen portion and used my carving knife to slice it as he waited on his helper’s chair, looking up at me, anxiously awaiting his turkey. I sliced it thinly, and then sliced the slices into the form of his favorite shreds. The shreds thawed as I sliced the rest of the turkey portion. I placed the thawed shreds on his plate with no topper or mixer, and he completely devoured it and licked the bowl. Then he looked up at me with his big eyes and asked for more. How can I say no to those eyes? I don’t have to, because of how healthy this food is. This is just what the doctor ordered—- literally. Cutting it while it was still frozen allowed me to get nice, clean cuts and to slice them into the form of his favorite shreds, without it mushing. Although it worked out perfectly for me, I would still recommend letting it thaw just a little bit before slicing— just so that you don’t cut yourself. This food definitely gets two paws up! My “baby wildcat” (Smokester) devoured it and licked the bowl! Then he looked up at me and asked for more. It’s tasty and it’s good for him. I couldn’t ask for more! Thanks Chewy, for carrying such a great product, and for making sure it arrived perfectly frozen. … more

Kitty LOVES THIS!
By Teej on Jan 16, 2021
Someone dumped a little kitty a year ago, no owner came for her, so we took her in to get fixed. She’s very frightened, had to catch her in a cage. Kept her inside to recover, since it was winter. Tried to domesticate her but she wanted nothing to do with us but get back outdoors. She now “owns us” and our fenced in yard, so yes she’s a feral kitty but she’s our YARD KITTY. Sure we could feed her with lots of cheap food but we want her healthy, minimal meat by products and no junk; so tried these, and she loves them. We crumble them up, add warm water to soften and warm up her belly and she can’t wait! Still stands back 4 ft but will wait until we leave then chows it up. Cats love it
By Bess on Feb 10, 2021
You know how cats are, well this they like! I mix it fresh every meal w/ water and add it to their canned food. I feel like a “mom” sneaking vegetables into my kids meatloaf. Give it a try.

Cat wont eat anything else!
By AmyP on Jan 25, 2021
My cat loves this food. I "rehydrate" it with a bit of water and he has tasty bite size medallions. I normally feed this one & chicken. Just know you can feed a tad less of this one since its higher fat content compared to chicken.

HELPS soft stools!!
By carrisa on Nov 6, 2020
My Sphinx kitten has soft stools ever since I got him. I’ve been trying out a lot of combinations of dry and canned food but nothing helped. So I did some research and found people saying a raw diet could help. So I bought this AND through even half way of the transition it’s working! I feed it with goat milk with probiotics and they likes it. I would’ve given it a four star because my kitten are not crazy about it, but sure a five star as long as it helps the soft stool:) P.S. if you want to crumble it remember to do it before soaking with water or other liquid! It’s hard to crumble after soaking haha.

Lifesaver yums

I mix a few of these with S&C’s digestive food. I also use dry as a side treats. It helps to clean her teeth. My cat loves them.

It may be good...
By Animals14 on Dec 5, 2020
I bought this for my cat who needs to be on a limited ingredient diet after reading the reviews that lots of cats loved it. It may be a good food, but my one cat wouldn’t touch it and the other would nibble and walk away. They didn’t eat instead of trying to eat it. I can’t say it’s a bad food, just not for my picky eaters.

Sorry to say...
By ArkieArleen on Nov 25, 2020
I have got to have THE pickiest cats on the planet! Wet or dry, they will not have it. But...nothing went to waste...my DOG loves them! Oh, I know it's cat food, so my dog only gets a few dry pieces as an occasional treat! She always goes around and "cleans" the cat food bowls out after they're done eating anyway!
