I would like a list of all ingredients before I purchase this product. Where can I see a list?

This is made of mylar, a form of polyester resin used to make heat-resistant plastic films and sheets, and techcryl. Techcryl 6164 is an acid free, water-based acrylic adhesive formulated to coat ultra smooth for optical clarity in clear film applications. Techcryl 6164 provides excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces and can be supplied at a viscosity suitable for your coating equipment.

How often should I apply the deterrent spray on my couch to keep my cats from scratching it ?

The sticky paws should be replaced weekly and if you're using a deterrent spray, you should use the spray daily until your cat loses that habit.

Doesn’t stick to either of my couches.

I feel like this would work really well if I could just get it to stick to any of my furniture. What I did get to stick a bit does deter the cat from scratching

I feel like this would work really well if I could just get it to stick to any of my furniture. What I did get to stick a bit does deter the cat from scratching. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? The couch and chair aren’t microfiber so I’m not sure what the problem is.

Stella has not been attracted to the great scratching post we bought or the horizontal cardboard scratchers but she started going for the couch. She is 9, has been with us since Sept. 3, 2025. I bought Sticky Paws before Stella came because it was recommended. It is working. The instructions recommend frequent replacing but I have put it on once and not again. Stella isn’t scratching the couch anymore!

I used this probably 10 years ago with my cats who scratched under the bedroom door. We recently moved to a new place with carpet and are experiencing the same issue, so I bought this tape. This stuff is terrible now! It doesn’t stick at all, no matter what I do, you can’t get the paper off, and once you finally get it where you want it it’s not sticky enough to deter my cat at all.

Sticks well to our couch, and I had no issues when applying it (it did not stick to my fingers as other reviews mentioned) by following the instructions. One of our cats kept trying to bite it and the other scratched it anyway, but the tape protected the couch and their claws slide down the tape :) We placed a scratcher pad next to the couch, so hopefully over time they will realize it's a better scratch/stretch to use the designated scratcher.

waste of money

If your lucky enough to get this tape to stick to furniture and not you! Then your lucky!! So far, none of this sticky double sided tapes and sheets do not work

They don't stick to furniture and if they do, its only a second. I spent more time drying to get it to stick and then it became a blob!! Still looking for something that works!!!

Other brands seem to be stickier. This will come off too easily from fabric like headboards or furniture.

My cat won't stop trying to pick at carpet edges, and other methods haven't worked to deter her (scented spray, packing tape, gorilla glue double-sided tape which got gross in places). I turned to this to line the problem areas. So far, she's only managed to breach one (which I've now used the double-sided-ness to affix tin foil, which keeps her fully away), but otherwise, she appears to be leaving the carpet alone.
