2 11 year old cats. I allowed them to scratch furniture resulting in predictable damage. Tried Sticky Paws on new chairs and both cats hate the sticky and they also seem to smell something that keeps them from scratching! Took me a minute to master applying the tape but have it down pat now. Such a simple idea that is working so well for my senior girls!

It was too strong . I tested it with my own finger and I jumped back made my skin bleed. It was so powerful. I didn’t have a chance to look at the thing, and when I load it was still too harsh for pets, especially a small dog or cats paw I won’t. I’m going to return it.

It Really Works!

This keeps my very stubborn cat from clawing up my nice furniture. It makes me very happy to know my furniture will not be destroyed!

I watched a Jackson Galaxy video about how to get your cat to stop scratching on furniture - and he recommended sticky paws. I have leather furniture that one of my cats likes to scratch the corners of the seats. He hasn’t caused a lot of damage yet and wasn’t listening to my “stop doing thats” - so this was the next step. (I have scratching posts, cat trees and toys in every room of the house, so it wasn’t lack of proper places to scratch or to play) I put this in places where my cat was scratching, and he really did not like the feel of the sticky and immediately stopped. I did a test peel off on the leather first to make sure it wouldn’t damage anything and it comes off cleanly. Anyways - I recommend this for a next step fix for your scratch-happy kitty.

The regular Sticky Paws work fine, but these large sheets are very fragile and hard to apply without tearing them. Often, removing the first backing tears the sheet making it extremely difficult to remove the outer backing. I've been able to apply only one fully successfully. Recommend sticking with the tape rolls. Disappointing.
