This straw bedding currently is bright yellow wheat straw. While no one can say for sure if any straw, hay or alfalfa is completely weed free, this crop is currently as close as it could get when it comes to being weed free.

I purchased this straw to help insulate a really nice cat shelter that I built for a stray cat that showed up a few months ago. I think been using it because I can see some of the straws been knocked out of the little door. It serves its purpose and it’s really good. a nice big box full and it really helped out during a very, very cold spell. Really appreciate the quick delivery too. We’ll definitely purchase this again.

Product works well for what I use it for.

The cats are feral. I use totes that I insulated with mylar-backed bubble wrap type of insulation. Then I add the straw for bedding and added warmth. They have survived

The cats are feral. I use totes that I insulated with mylar-backed bubble wrap type of insulation. Then I add the straw for bedding and added warmth. They have survived eleven winters in the North East. The straw is a little long so it's a bit more difficult to position in the totes. However, the cats don't seem to mind.

Ive picked out what I can when I fill the beds but just sad it was full of burs :( which in turn have gotten stuck in the cats fur :( but other than that, it's good straw and you get a ton
