How long could I expect a 36 lb bag of sWheat Scoop to last, for one cat?

Answer by ChewyMay 24, 2018
The length of time the litter will last depends on how often the box is changed. On average, the 36 pound bag will last 2 and a half months.

So is there any real difference between the regular and the multicat or is it just a marketing thing ?

Answer by ChewyFeb 19, 2018
The sWheat Scoop Multi-Cat Natural has two times more odor eliminating power and two times stronger clumping than the sWheat Scoop Natural Fast-Clumping Cat litter.

Is this flushable?

This litter's clumping ability is okay. It takes a while for the urine to clump. I refuse to use clay litters since they are bad for the environment & the dust issues for the cats respiratory. This litter seems to absorb odor fairly well. It doesn't really track too badly so that's good too.

Jennie the cat doesn’t mind the Swheat scoop. I like it for 14 pound bag is easier to handle. It seems to control the order, however I do scoop everyday. It tracks less than clay litter. I did buy a jumbo litter box that helps keep the spread under control. The only thing I don’t like is sometimes the wet litter after she pees will stick to the inside along the edge

The litter works well, no complaints on the product. A little less happy with the packaging. We purchased this litter primarily because we are looking for lower environmental-impact products, so the giant plastic bag is a downside. The bag also requires heavy scissors to get into, which is less than ideal.

Better than corn

I've tried them all over 20 years, clay walnut, corn, pine, etc. I always come back to Swheat scoop! It is the least tracking and dusty, all while controlling odor

Does the job!

Love that it’s made from wheat. Doesn’t fully cover odors for us, but that’s not a deal breaker. If I scoop too soon after a pee, the clumps break up. It’s good

We recycle, as we have land with tons of rocks, this litter bio-degrades into top soil with a grass like lawn. Same as Walnut shells.

Half as good as World's Best Corn Litter

It's about half of clumping power of World's Best Corn Cat Litter. I bought this thought I could save a bit money by going for cheaper alternatives, but regret buying

It's about half of clumping power of World's Best Corn Cat Litter. I bought this thought I could save a bit money by going for cheaper alternatives, but regret buying it. I'll go back to World's Best, which is by far still the most effective clumping bio-degradable cat litter out there. Also tracking performance on this litter is poor, just like the World's Best (or any other litter besides crystal type). Cats walking outside of the litter box will create a mess.

Not really compatible with the Litter Robot

Love the concept of natural, but it clogged up the Litter Robot and didn't control odors as well as our other cat litters we've tried.
