They like it!
Even though I purchased the food at a local retail store, I wanted to leave a review. I recently switched my dog over to the Ancient Stream formula and wanted to try to find a new food for my cats that was reasonably priced (pet food has gotten SO expensive). I decided to try this formula for them. I just opened the bag...the downside is that it smells, but I mixed a small amount in my cats existing food, and gave them each a few pieces to try. All 3 of them gobbled it up! Time will tell if I keep them on it, but I have high hopes that they will enjoy this food and will do well.

I started learning about cat food ingredients for my sensitive-stomach cat. Recently switched to this food from the Nutro salmon & brown rice, since I like the ingredients in this better. All four of my cats like it.
Great product for my cat's allergies
I went through so many products looking for no chicken as my furbaby is allergic to chicken. We tried so many different foods that 1 she didn't like or 2 wouldn't stay down. Well I happened across this at the pet store and gave it a chance. She loves the taste and it doesn't have chicken in it! Her coat has become so soft. She is also on a "diet" prescribed by the vet for her weight, and this has helped with that. I will not stray from this product and would absolutely recommend this to someone who has a kitty chicken allergy.
I'm sure it's great but...
The 6 of ours that will eat dry food said, "Nope". I'll try again once more but will donate the rest, if not accepted. It looks like good, quality food so don't base your purchase entirely on my review.
The perfect minimum ingredient diet food
Our cat was presenting allergies to something in her food. This food is the only reasonably priced food that doesn't make my cats eyes swell up. She also seems to like the flavor!
Made my cat gain weight like crazy
Switched to this food to help my cat lose weight and wanted to get away from grains and corns in my dry cat food. Took me multiple bags to realize this food was making my cat inflate in size!!! After some research, I realized that cats should not have a ton of carbs. The third ingredient is sweet potatoes and the entire bag itself is 40% carbs! Also found out this is a product of Diamond Pet Foods that has a massive recall history. Needless to say, will not be buying again.

Just got this (delivered within like 36? hours of ordering! perfect timing too because he just ran out of his old food and I didn’t wanna have to buy more!) and gave maxxyman some to try. He is inhaling it. He can be a little picky, but… he ate everything i gave him (with a few bites left, he started to “cover it,” then said “maybe just one more bite,” like 4 times.) We had to switch to chicken-free so i’m SO happy the first one I picked to try is a hit! hopefully this continues. he’s very food motivated, but, again, a little picky, so it could go either way. and hopefully his ears stop bothering him! Now he’s hanging out in the chewy box it was delivered in!

Best food for sensitive stomach!
My cat has IBD and I've tried a lot of different cat foods to find one that doesn't upset his stomach. After about a week of eating this food his litterbox habits became normal if you get what I mean. For a grain free chicken free recipe it is affordable and he loves the taste.
perfect food
Both of my kitties who struggle with food allergies can eat this food with no problems and they LOVE it! It’s so hard to find an affordable food that dosent have chicken/ grains…this is amazing!
