The Tetrafauna ReptoFilter for Frogs, Newts & Turtles provides crystal clear filtration for aquatic terrariums. It uses patented Whisper technology for silent operation as it moves the water through three stages of filtration. The removable filter cartridges catch organic debris and remove odors and discoloration from your tank. This filter works in as little as three inches of water, so it’s the ideal choice for the shallow pools found in turtle, newt and frog habitats. It’s also great for creating waterfalls. Simply attach the suction cups to a terrarium wall and cover the filter with decorative rocks or plants. The green color makes it easy to conceal, and the protective lid keeps reptiles out. The medium 90 GPH filter is effective in terrariums up to 20 gallons, and the large 125 GPH works for tanks up to 55 gallons.

I don't understand. The filter won't turn on after I tried plugging it back in. It's always submerged in water like instructed so it wasn't mistreated. I don't have money for another one and was hoping there was some kind of warranty for it. I purchased it January of 2021 and it's October 2022. Do I need to replace them every couple years? This is my second brand of filter or my turtle tank.
A very easy to use, effective, and affordable filter. That being said, I wouldn't recommend using it for more than ~15 gallons of water. I love it for small tanks for hatchling turtles. Keeps the water crystal clear when used properly. Highly recommend
I got this filter for my yellow belly slider turtle baby! It works great for my 10 gallon tank. The extra debris was so much worse, and was making the tank very cloudy. I got it today and so far it is picking up all the extra debris! Hopefully it will continue to work!
36 year old turtle!! I use 2 in a 20 gallon tank ~ water very near downspout of filter ~ Pulls in debris & tank remains clean!! Alberta sunbathes on her raft most of the time ~ her "light" is on 24/7 TNX for a great product
I purchased this smaller filter to redesign my turtle tank. It does a good job for what it is intended for. The only drawback of this item is the instructions say to change the filter once a month. The filter gets dirty rather quickly so changing it weekly is more realistic.
The filter worked great for a few weeks before shutting down and refusing to turn on. We took it apart and tried to figure out what’s wrong but couldn’t get it fixed. Very cheaply made. Would not recommend
stopped working in less then 24hr called chewy said they would send a replacement, never got it I had to buy anther filter last night.
I bought this filter about a year ago, I have two turtles and it seems to do the job & keep my 20 gallon tank clean. Worth the price.
Didn’t get rid of smell for the tank, barely filtered any water had to change the filter after a week and it was disgusting. Was hoping this would make cleaning out the tank less but I still have to do it every few days. Water isn’t clear at all. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I read the instructions.
I ended up having to duct tape the filter together in order to it to work since the suction cups broke off and allowed unfiltered water to leak back into the tank. All in all it was a waste of money and I should have gotten something better.
