my water is foaming, how can I prevent this? I just bought this pump 4 days ago, I have already changed the filter. Its for a small turtle. thanks

This may be the result of protein-based waste coating small air bubbles, which causes them to stick together and form a foam. If protein foam is present, it is an indication that the tank needs a good cleaning. Make sure the filter is clean, and remove any debris in the tank.

i need a small or medium filter i can use with sand for a large water frog will this work

This filter works in as little as three inches of water, so it’s the ideal choice for the shallow pools found in turtle, newt and frog habitats. The medium 90 GPH filter is effective in terrariums up to 20 gallons, and the large 125 GPH works for tanks up to 55 gallons.

Now I have green water

I don't know why now.This filter gives me green disgusting cloudy water.And I have done everything that I can, including water changes.And chemicals and water testing

I needed a pump for his tank, he is a wild rescued western painted turtle.

His pump went out and I needed this style and model for the tank that we have. He is about 3 years old. He was the size of a quarter when he was found in a swimming

You've been warned. Doesn't stay in place. Had to change filter within a week. Stopped operating after two weeks. And everything else that was said about it not

Doesn't stay in place

The suction cups don't keep it in place and come loose from the device several times a week. It's a pain to have to reinstall the suction cups. They do adhere

But the suction cups don’t keep the filter upright or in place without something to set the filter on in the water. The hanger that comes with it doesn’t have enough

But the suction cups don’t keep the filter upright or in place without something to set the filter on in the water. The hanger that comes with it doesn’t have enough holes to keep the filter lower in the water, I just tried it again and the filter was splashing water out of the tank, plus was way to high up for my liking. This is for a turtle so the tank water doesn’t go all the way to the top, there’s always at least a 4-6 inch space for the turtle dock

Needs bigger and more suction cups

The large filter need 4 suctions cups like other brands or bigger suctions cups. it comes off the glass of the aquarium too easliy.
